In the week i'm 35, but on trials weekend I am 25 and alive , I hope all you lads and lasses some day get the MASSIVE buzz that I get when I see my lad go from 2 gaps to seven gaps all in one day, and to see him pick up his second Brittish championship award and help from Koxx (Fred Savage), that will stay forever. Kids Rule John. Even softer dad
  4. Thanks pal. I only wished that i'd seen the little scamp at it. Robbie is worried now that he is here with young jacub robinson. I hope we can bring more young blood into trials, maybe we as a nation can take the trials world by storm, lets face it if the little uns can manage a day like yesterday in that cold, they are made of pretty special stuff. Call me if you want to go out with us any time. John and Rob P.S Robbie still sleeps with all of his awards. How big was the lump in your throat on sunday eh. I still well up when I see how well he does.(but i'm a bit soft)

The little lad in question is called Jacub, all he needs is lots of practice and a little encouragement from the big guns like you lot and I am sure he will be pushing Robbie in a bit, His dad is called Matt he is 37 years old I think he came 19th in inter so not bad for a dad. He used to ride 20 years ago before most of you lot wear even thought about. So well done to him and I hope you are not to stiff today pal. You never know I may well have a go myself some day if I can lay my hands on a 20" stranger things have happened, I might even bully Ian Oliver into having a do, what do you reckon Ian ??????? Thanks again for all the good feed back Somebody mentioned young Sam Olivers blinding ride, don't forget his little bro Tom, second trial in novice 10 years old and second and that is with an injured hand he will be a force to reckoned with I am sure.   7. Thanks to all who braved the weather god it was bloody cold. A BIG thanks to babara, jo, and tara for signing on, crap job but has to be done. And not forgetting Nigel, he brought the wine and the gazibo . Well done and thanks to all the observers without you lot it couldn't happen I hope you have warmed up enough to enjoy your wine. All in all a great day. well done to the little nipper. only 5 years old with balls of steel, one to watch out for in the future I hope. If anybody knows of any good land that we could hold a trial on please drop Wayne or me a line and we will check it out.   13. Don,t know how to get in , but if you do the British rounds this year you will ride the last round here. It is one hell of a place to ride, so get practicing and see you there later this year.

  16. He's Really cheesed off cos his van broke down as well. Looks as though you got home eh ? What a shambles took my lad to see some of the big guns in action.   17. I go to Doncaster and ride in a school play ground with a load of other dissapointed people that traveled far and wide to ride a comp that never even happened. BOO. good day out though. Or My dad takes me up to Addingham moorside cos if you can ride the wet up there you can ride wet any where. Just get out and ride whatever the weather cos we live in a wet and mucky country.

  19. Welcome to trials pal. How old is your little lad ? My little lad is 8 years old and he has been riding now for 2 years in comps. you can enter comps at 6 yaers old. Robbie has done well but we need some more youngsters to come through. Come to one of our Tyke Trial event and have a look. We are holding one at Addingham moorside on the 26th Feb. Bring him along and he can have a go at some of the sections, that is how my little lad started. Where are you from ? John and Robbie

  21. Yes that was me on the little x lite. I am now riding a Koxx Wasp and getting better, i hope !!!
