Bugger missed it ! just got in.
-
They will get good because they ride what is put in front of em, not what looks good to passers by. Trial....... look it up. I rode on sunday and I thought it looked the esiest we have had all year, but to my suprise I reccon it was the hardest and so did Robbie. so looks can be deceiving......

Where do you get off in giving trials negative vibes all the time, first slag off MBUK second give a new lad shitty comments for loving his sport and wanting to share it with us all, You need to get a grip and try to enjoy yourself. You are here for a good time NOT a long time. You will be to old to ride soon, so just get out and ride.

STOP FALLING OUT !!!! JUST GET OUT AND RIDE !!!!!!! ALL THIS CRAP IS KILLING A FANTASTIC SPORT !!!! IF YOU DON'T LIKE ASPECTS OF THE SPORT THEN F>>> OFF AND TAKE UP FOOTBALL OR SOMETHING. LET THE LITTLE KIDS LEARN AND ENJOY THE SPORT FOR WHAT IT IS. MR ASHTON HAS DONE MORE THAN YOU LOT WILL EVER DO FOR THIS SPORT. Sorry. for the rant John

Both Robbie and I thought it was a good day out. Even I had a wobble round just for the hell of it !! I was a liitle supprised how many people dropped a class, I would like to see lads push themselves a little harder, this is the only way to improve. I thought the sections were bloody hard but thats trials for you eh ? Well done to all who went and most of all well done and thanks for setting it up, sos I wasn't there to help. Any way thats my view. P.S my bloody shins are hurting AGAIN ! John

Gonna be scaring a few elite next year pal. Don't wear Ians shorts again. The riding is getting more physical and a lot stronger now. Keep it up.

I am 36 and began riding because i was sick of just watching my little lad, I ride mr haws's old bike and she's a bute. I however am crap but it is the best fun you can have on 2 wheels, bring on the grandads of trials YOU ARE NEVER TO OLD just get on and do it. P.S. It bloody hurts for a couple of days afterwards but get the missus to give you a good rub down and all is well.

Little Robbie started when he was 5 1/2 so thats 3 years. I started at 35 1/2, so thats 4 months. So you are never to young but you are never to old, as some of you may have seen at the fun trial at Brimham rocks this year (I was the idiot in the skirt and bra and blonde wig). I have never had as much fun With my clothes (er the missus's clothes) on. JP PS I hope to ride at Addingham on sunday all being well, come and join in and have a laugh(at me)

Fred Savage usually camps, we are camping so the more the merrier I say,
-
Yes thats it. Good luck, it's a top venue.

Good luck to all our lads and lasses going out to Singapore and Japan this next week. It shows real dedication to our sport. I hope we can all pull together in the future and make our sport one that people marvell at and want to be a part of, instead of back biting and falling out all the time. Go on lads (and Lois Morgan if you are going) let the rest of the world watch and learn a litte true British grit. Wish were going with you all, maybee next year all being well. John and Robbie Pea

As a dad of a little one who lives on his bike, reading this topic makes my stomach churn. I watch him learn and try bigger and harder things, he inspired me to get a trials bike an take the sport up, he lives in his lid and hopefully always will do, me however when riding on our back street do not wear a lid because i am a grown up and sh>it like that doesn't happen to a dad. Not any more. I ride to work every day and do not wear a lid because I am always in a hurry, again not any more. I watch you lads doing some fairly big moves, so as a parent I ask you on behalf of all your parents no matter how old you are . PLEASE PLEASE wear a lid I do not want to have to read about some one I do know killing themselves it is, I can asure you hard enough to read about this kid who I never met. What price do you put on a life ? R.I.P. Ride well in your resting place pal John and Rob

"TRIALS" It does exactly what it says on the tin !!!!! Little Robbie wanted to drop a class. But in the end he rode novice an probably had his best ride to date he came 5th and the lads that beat him were from the inter class. So well done Rob. He has only ever retired from one trial and he is only 8 years old, so come on lads toughen up a little, the little ones are showing you all the way, SOD street, natural is where it's at. Thanks Babs it's always hard at Oakworth PO.S get well soon Niel you and me have some unfinished business to attend to John
-
I'll second that one. Don't forget young Tom he will be after his big bro in a year or two you just watch him. And do not forget little Abby she is learning from Loise Morgan .

looks the dogs to me but what do I know anyway. Put that man on a tandem and he will make it dance. Look forward to seeing him ride it at Devon on sunday.

I have pics of the whole teams on sat before we set off but I am buggered if I know how to put em on here. :$ But then I suppose I'm buggered if I know how to ride a trials bike know matter who it used to belong to, mind you though I have never had as much pulling power as i did in my wig an skirt I had to lock my tent up to keep them all out !!!!!!!

I was pushed by the little elf. If you look closely you can just see him leggin it off :$ :$

Well done to all of you that rode the 2 day event for Tykes. Sorry it clashed with YMSA. We had a great entry and all seemed to enjoy well enough. I can hardley walk now, two days riding not good at 35 years old. A big well done to all the little new lads you were ace keep it up lads. Thanks Barbara it all went well and you were a fairly good team mate on Sat. Cheers all, off to bed now to begin the long healing process. John
