  1. Nice one buddy at last somebody entering into the spirit of things. If it's safe then anything goes on sat, so bring it on the more stupid the better.

  4. I have just got one but I don,t know how it rides cos I,m old and sh/t. But I am told it rides well. I only got it so that I can go and ride with my little lad Robbie.
  5. Good evening to all 168 of you who are online at the moment. This is a message to you all who are wanting to take part in the 2 day event next week at Brimham. We have been organizing this event for some time now as we want as many of you as poss to come and join us for the weekend. We have done 2 day events there before and had a great time and a good few beers ( 18 and overs of course ) We are awarding last years champions there trophies, Having a fun trial on sat, Having a barbie style supper on sat night, Holding a trial on sunday. As you can see there is a lot for us all to do. All you lot have to do is SEND US YOUR ENTRY FORM (sorry to shout), Turn up pitch your tent Have a good laugh on sat Have an even bigger laugh on sat night And then have a good comp on sunday at probably one of the best venues in the country. Come on lads and lasses please help us out and send us your forms. Help us to put on a top event you all know it makes sense. If we don't know how many are coming it will make it a nightmare for caterers section setters ect you all know the score. thanks for reading this. John on behalf of Tyketrial
  6. If its 20 year old blonde totty I,m there bring it on :$
  7. We need help Neil so step up to the okky. Keep the little ones up for it and we do have a future. Just stop giving em speed before they compete. Give me a call if they want to go out riding some time. John
  8. The shows not over till the fat bird sings, you stay fit enough and you can do it
  9. I take it from that that you have no kids. I do agree that sooner or later that they will learn the fine art of the English language, but let them be kids and let us as parents protect them from it for as long as we can. I swear a lot when at work but we have a duty to teach our kids the rights and wrongs don't we ??? My little girl who is 3 comes to every event and she is Rob's biggest fan, how would it look if her teacher called me to tell me she had been swearing at school and she had learnt it from her big brother who is only 8. After all this is a familly sport for all ages. Just curb the language and we will all have a good sport to watch and get involved in. You may some day have the same opinion as the rest of the parants who take the time out to organise these events for YOU all to enjoy !!!!!!! Without us you have no sport
  10. Being one of the dads of the younger riders you are all going on about I have been watching this topic very closely. I am pleased to say that when Rob rode the comp at Bracken Rocks on the bank holiday I was very pleased with how people behaved and conducted themselves( i nearly lost my rag and swore at Robbie for getting upset and crying because he couldn't get his head round the UCI gig) so nobody is perfect. I hope, as Waynio said that this is going to set the scene for the rest of 2006. You older lads never seem to amaze me with your skills on bikes, you are all with no exeption truly at the top of your game, Rob is 8 and sees you as true comic book heroes. For me to be able take Rob to watch and compete on the same stage as you all is like him playing with Rooney and Owen at Wembley every weekend, it is a great pleasure, but as it has been said before, please lads look around before you start spouting off, I know we are all passionate about the sport. I don't want Rob saying F><>K because he heard one of his heroes say it. Why don't you lot get together as mates and arrange a day where you all take the younger riders for a bit of a training/fun ride out, put a little back into it, enjoy it, chill out, even have a bit have a laugh if you dare!!( you might enjoy it). Wayne spends a huge amount of his time doing this why don't you all you may even have a bit of fun ? Believe it or not you lot are helping me to bring little Rob up because trials requires manners, fitness, discipline and most of all RESPECT for others and yourselves . But when you are shouting complaining and swearing out aloud you undo all the great work and make yourselves look like loosers. Come on lads let us draw a line in the sand, step over it and never go back. Enjoy our sport, and lets try and show the Spaniards how to play there own game because I believe we have the talent to take it to em. If you lot can't do it then invest some time in the little ones that are set to follow you all because maybee just maybee one of em may well be te next Ot pi or Benito Ros. Come on groovers you know it makes sense. John

  12. couldn't bothered to read all that cos it's really boaring me now but you said it all in your last 3 words Phil and well done for that. JUST HAVE FUN (for all our sakes). Thats what I try to tell my 8 year old lad.
  13. Come on gents, Trials is about fun. How much brass did you spend on ale the last time you went on the lash. I help to set up and run these events and to be frank it is a real pain in the ass, people not filling forms in, late entries, rain, wind, mud, people falling out. If anybody would like to run an event and keep every one happy then bring it on We would welcome more people helping out and attending meetings.(you will be amazed at what is involved in organising these events) come on lads lets just get out there and ride. I bet the Spaniards don't have all this falling out, they live for there sport. It's all about the bike

  25. oops sorry I pressed the wrong key. :$ :$ :$ Bloody computers !!!! As I was saying I was asked to check out the venue by Fred Savage as he is getting calls from worried people about the weather. Yes it is cold up there but there is no snow at all so so far so good. I will go up again tomorrow and let you all know how it is. If anybody is worried then please do contact me and I will try to put your minds at ease. We will do our best to make it all run smoothly, but it is winter and we do live in England after all, but as a rule we don't normally get much snow here. We hope you all brave the cold and have a great start to 2006. Wrap up warm and we will see you all there bright and early on sunday. John Peacock. Robs dad
