  1. Took robbie out on his nw bike on sat just to shake it down a bit and see what fell off after my masterfull building skills. To my supprise it stayed intact (Y).

He was a little uneasy beacause it has not got his full on back brake set up yet, bits should be with us on Wednesday this week, he also has to adjust to no bash riding as well which should help him in the long run.

He feels much more comfortable with it, the size and lenght is much more suited to him.

Any how enjoy the pics, some good some not so good, we had the best day ever, we followed it up with a trip up to the BMX track at yeadon, now that was real fun, I may well retire from trials and become a pro BMXer.

Neil the looney Raven was a real bmx bandit.

Little ravon full on as ever

  3. Never had the pleasure to meet this DJ guy but from the following he has on here he must have been one hell of a guy.

I am full of admiration for all of you who keep the memory alive.

Long live the ride and long live the memory.

RIP dude you have touched many people on here.

    John and Robbie.

  4. Whoa, whoa, whoa - drilled forks? I take it you just mean the two holes on the crown?

Looks like you\'ve drilled through half the weld on the inside of the BB yoke/chainstay join too, I\'d be watching that for cracks...

Yeh should be ok for Rob he is only a light weight.

Please can some body move this topic to bike pics. i put it in the wrong place.

    Sorry.

    John

  5. Here is Robbie's new bike for you lot to paw over.

I have been a busy boy on the old Bridgeport milling machine at work drilling this and that.

    Drilled forks

    drilled front Try all rim

All cable hangers removed and hoses run through frame

    rear drop outs shortened

    all bash equipment removed

    various holes drilled in frame

white duct tape instead of rim tape.

I am not sure of it's exact weight but Rob says it feels as light as his old Hydroxx, so that is good news.

Fred savage has supplied us with the Frame and bits many of which he is promoting in the UK.

I am happy for anyone to have ago and see what they think of it. We will be at the 2 day Tyke trial next week.

I am happy to say that heatsink are supplying the rear braking power with the addition of some CNC backings and some red pads so i will keep you posted with how that is going.

I would like to thank Fred and Ben savage for helping us out over the last few years and supplying the bits for this latest project. I would also like to thank Steve at Heatsink for the advise and parts (when they land) for the rear brake.

I hope you all like it, not sure about the colour of the pedals but what the hell they will be scratched soon enough. They are welgos magnesium, they are sooooo smooth.

We will be out training this weekend so I will get some shots of it in action.

    Thanks for looking.

    John

OOOps sorry can you move it to bike pics 1 too many stellas sorry

  6. yo dude, i was lucky enough to get married on youre fantastic island last year.

If you ask me it is far to hot and far to many lovely ladies to look at for trials riding.

Seriously though I have the same fears pal.

it will come soon enough though.

    JP

  7. at the end of the day that frame is good for nothing it rides trials badly and it doesnt do too shit hot for bunnhops etc. if you wish to believe that piece of crap will make your riding more fun/original then go ahead

I have lent my bike to various riders during various trials and belive me in the right hands it will still hold its own against any modern stuff

You seem to have issues, do you need to talk to some one my friend.

    How tall are you? :P

  8. On the old marking out thing, I have been involved in the last 2 at blackpool and belive me it is a tough place to mark out a trial.

1 because we can,t drill the rocks

2 because the rocks don't lend em selves to sticky tape

3 it's bloody windy and usally wet and

4 it is a very public place with all sorts of people and scum about that think it is a laugh to pull stuff up when we all go out for a well earned pint at night.

Waynio I can agree people do use some interesting lines but that doesn't mean you have to, I for one prefere the 0 or 5 mentality that you have addopted and it is riders like you that people want to see , so stop being a wuss and carry on inspiring people to achieve what you have done. ;)

See you this week sometime pal.
