  1. Yer I could do with 1 on my Zona. In the meantime does anyone know where you get the bolts and spacers for a 4 bolt booster. Im running an RB booster with not much sucess because I only have 2 bolts!! Sorry to change subject.
  2. I reckon a gold and silver bike looks tacky. Im going with an orange theme on my Zona because I dont like red but i dont like gold any more because my zona had enough gold parts to look tacky and not enough to make it took nice. I would recomend red though.
  3. Q- Wheres your seat gone? A- Can you really see a place for one to go Q- So how do you sit down? A- You dont Q- Can you do a grind on that? A- Is this a BMX?
  4. There is an easy way to remove mashed pins, with pliers or molegrips. Also I find that the pins dont fall out all the time but occasionally 1 goes.
  5. Ive had a set of the old V12s on my street/4x/freeride bike. I took foot off the pedal to balance myself before crossing a road and the pedal outer(think its either called platform or cage) came too. bearings went everywhere and lost most. Axel fine though. I did up end nut and rode off. They make a hell of a noise but they work and is still like it. I wouldnt recomend them because of past experiances.
  6. I say its a version of motobike trials ( normally they no what that is) and if they dont get that then I would say its like bmx but they are specially designed for jumping off walls and going up them....... You know what I mean. If all else fails then say its a mountain bike for jumps and stuff.
  7. I use V8s and put terror pins in them as i found the small pins not stucky enough. I did have a pair of cheap onza beartraps but they werent holding my foot so I sharpened them and slipped again and left some nasty holes in my legs so I got V8s (and shinpads).
  8. PLAZMATIC CRMs . I use them on a smooth rim on the rear and set up properly they work perfectly. 1 thing, they dont work on a smooth rim in the wet. On the front (it may sound wierd) I have a Heatsink Blue as my friend was giving it away unused and a koolstop on the other side. Works well and can ride natural and pull some front wheel tricks with confidence.
  9. My Crawlers let me down doin a sidehop gap. Didnt grip and gave me a mean flat tyre. Wouldnt use enything else though apart from if the monty tyres get good ratings. They might be cracking because you have a narrow rim with a high tyre pressure and are you sure you dont skid on them?
  10. V!Z all the way. I have them in ORANGE and they are nice with gloves but without they hurt my hands after long, hard rides.
  11. Not yet able to drive but am currently saving up for a Citroen 2CV. :$ Look at www.2cv4x4.com if you think I mean a puffy 2CV. Cant wait really. I no normal ones can just carry 4 people so i dont no about bike. £1006 insurance with test just passed and the car is worth about £500-£2000 unmodified. Bit outragous really.
  12. We rode there when Ashton did his demo in the outlet centre. There isnt much to ride and what is good is in the highstreet where we got stoped by the feds. All the other stuff is spread out over a distance so alot of pedaling is needed. There is a sick skatepark there and is worth a visit if u go there. Hope i've helped
  13. I use CRMs and very little tar. I find it very good to use and it doesnt slip. DONT GET HEATSINK BLUES FOR A NON GROUND RIM. Someone I no did it and they didnt work atall.
  14. I get all my armour from http://www.stif.co.uk/. Might not be the cheapest place but they deal almost any make of pads and helmets.
  15. It looks like loads of bikes mashed together. Dont really like it and looks cheap. Sorry.
  16. I have been told it will fit and i should be getting one soon (hopefully). The ones made for it are just too weak and frequently I have to straighten it so it should be worth it.
  17. I found it by trial and error. Try it one way and if it sucks adjust it again. It does help if your pads are square to the rim and then adjust them in/out to how you want the lever to feel.
  18. HS33 with Plazmatic CRMs and an RB booster. DONT FORGET THE GRIND
  19. I heard Rim Jam blues are really good but they come off their backings. I use Palzmatic CRMs on the rear and find them wicked. On the front it is the Magura koolstops with slip for MEGA endos and front wheel tricks but i adjust the TPA if i need to use them for proper stuff. hope i helped
  20. thanks 4 ur help. i tried it and still sounds the same. the freewheel is on the rear so it isnt rubbing but when it clicks it is when the links of the chain is coming off the teeth. i hav cleaned/oiled the chain and it carrys on.
  21. i have put the wheel on the frame and when i put tension on the crank it cracks and grinds. when i ride it it sounds like the barings are loose and are rolling/grinding inside by the way my lockring isnt loose
  22. i dont actually no how to open it and i hav never seen the inside of one it sounds like sand has got inside and is grinding at the barings
  23. my ACS CLAWS freewheel has started grating. would i be able to open it to grease it or is there other ways. it started when i was cleaning my wheel and started puttin it on my bike and when i put the chain on it started grating. PLEASE HELP!!!
  24. I hav bin tryin to sidehop for ages now and got a few injuries. I tried this low bench, clipped my wheel on it, fell over the back and broke 2 ribs. That waz in the holidays and I was off my bike for 6 weeks. I got my nu bike built and I could sidehop on 3 pallets. I found a low bench that was level and not broken. I had a go and over I went AGAIN! Snapped a muscle. Now I hav in ridin for a year I havent had much luck.
