  1. Heading into town in a bit to pay for my skiing holiday with 2 mates :D , then going to one of their's for a bit, then head into town later on. Won't be drinking too much as we're going to Chicksands riding tomorrow :)

  2. Saw this bike in the flesh yesterday in the K124 shop in Paris, looks very very nice!

Mannnnn you get about loads! Another road trip? :turned:

Personally i like the graphics. I've always liked these frames so think it's really nice.

  3. Your Adamant's built up so that it will be comfortable on the backwheel and therefore not so good for streety stuff. If you want to be able to do bunnyhops, manuals etc it would probably be best to look at getting a new frame. If you want to make your Adamant more streey you could try riser bars and a shorter stem amybe?

  4. I wen't all the way to Matlock and there was no one there :(

I was gonna say that me and my friend were there most of the day, then Mr Butler turned up at about midday which was good. Was icy as in places though! Shame that everyone decided to go to Brum instead

  5. I moved to sheffield around 2 months ago for uni and have been riding with 3 other guys fairly reguarly. I think there are a few other riders about but i haven't got in touch with them about riding yet. We tend to get kicked off quite alot of the decent spots, but there is alot to ride. I'm not sure if you've heard of Hathersage, but that's only 15 mins on the train and another 15 min bike ride to some awesome natural!

When will you be moving down?

  6. Was it NASS a few years ago where there were concrete pipes, boxes, ramps, rails etcetc and riders were given 2 mins or something to use the course to how they wanted??

I think something like this would allow for a larger variety of riding (TGS to streety riding) and would be much easier for spectators to watch. I say this because i could imagine that spectators might get bored of watching riders compete in sections as it may be seen as too slow....Riders could be judged on: Use of course, fluidity, style, difficulty of moves etc. (Y)

  7. Ditto man, I need to get an idea of how much I need to save.

    Costs of tent pitchs etc?

I'll probably train it there if I get an idea on price.

Most of us didn't even pay....Me and Wally turned up and asked people where to pay, and we were told that they would come round and charge us, so we set the tent up, went on what we were told and noboday charged us :) Not really sure how much it would cost.

I think i took £150 to be safe (inc petrol money) and i had quite alot left over afterwards.

I cannot wait for this!! Should be going with Wally so will be a good laugh. Not sure on how many days we're gonna go for, what days are most of you guys heading down there? 23rd? Let's hope it doesn't rain as much this time!
