    Yeah boy! Really really liked that video with all your best clips, and it was put together very well in a different format (Y)

    I see what you mean about that front wheel gap to the bin in Boston, and you've done that gap to Rail in Skegness i've wanted to do for ages!

    Amazing to see all the places you've ridden....'tis loadssss. Need to ride soon :)

    He sold his bike to buy a stock (after riding my bike!) but now says that he can't afford to get one til after his driving lessons. Got friends with a guy near me who hasn't been riding long and he has the same style (and frame) that Ben did ha

    there's no congestion charge at weekends and people usually just park in a side street somewhere round south bank for free....

    but..it is a long way for you! all the cool kids are riding oxford tomorrow..

    Adammmmm. Me and Wally are coming tomorrow so you must!....(will be better than our ride at Koxx Days, but without the rain hopefully).

    Made this ages ago, but TF wasn't playing it and found out it was today so thought i'd post a link up to it. Benny and I went to sunny Hunny, and there's also a few clips at the end from Spalding with Wally, and we got bored quick so moved on to another place which entertained us for a bit. The last few clips of Benny riding before he sold his bike :( Title suggests the music (...sort of).

  13. Bracken Rocks/dudwood Farm This Sunday The 27th

    Myself and a friend are thinking of coming up to the Matlock area this sunday to ride on the Sunday and Monday with camping inbetween. I was thinking of Bracken for one day, and Dudwood for the other. Whichever gets the most interest for Sunday will decide where to ride that day :) ....suggest any other good natural places if people prefer, as long as they are close to Matlock as we're driving around 2 hours there for this.

    Going to Side in Turkey for a week on the 17th, which is a week this Thursday :D Going with my girlfriend and another couple who we're really good friends with. Can't wait!!

    Then after that, planning on going up to Bracken rocks/Dudwood Farm in Derbyshire, camping over somewhere then driving to Shipley Glen and then camping somewhere before riding Leeds and then heading back home. That's the plan, and a friend of mine is definately up for it, just looking for someone else to come with us.

    I have sorta the same problem. Fresh grind, tried to do it light and sharp as always. Ridden for about 3 days, and gives great bite and noise but the hold is nowhere near as good as what i remember these pads of being. Although it's not awful, just slips a bit. Maybe i'm getting fat :(

    Maybe go for a harsher/deeper grind?

    Cool vid, cant wait to go. Tip for bonfires put a tin of beans on, massive bang the tin goes flying!

    I think the second clip at the end was 2 tinned cans, can't remember. But we found out that empty gas cannisters make one big bang ha.

    it doesn't. We did that with a 5kg tin of raped carrots and it didn't explode :(

    Chai's singing btw is more offputting than I showed ;) I would have done that fence if he wasn't singing.... Good vid Jon, see you again next year?

    Yeah i'm definately going to go next year no matter what, will hopefully be able to be there for the week. Hopefully going to go this summer B)

    Cheers dude. Remeber our ride on Sunday morning when it was raining heavy, that was mad, me you and Wally were like the only few no comp riders out :)

    Forgot to say that most/all? of this was filmed on the Saturday when it didn't rain much, and that's also why i'm wearing the same clothes in all clips.

    I know this is a few months late, but i had my last exam yesterday so edited this video. I went with Wally, who drove and we left at about 1 in the morning on friday and got back about 5 monday morning. It was the best weekend i have ever had in my life (thanks Wally for driving and evrything (Y) ).

    Starts off with some filming of the driving down there, then riding, Chai singing, more riding, bonfires + gas canisters and a crazy french kid. It hasn't really come out as i wanted, but i couldn't be bothered to spend alot of time on it.

  21. Anything Bad Happen To You On Friday?

    Got up a little later than normal, and was planning on revising in the morning then going to school for my tech exam. Thought i'd phone a friend to make sure it was in the afternoon and he said it was in the morning :mellow: . Jumped in the shower, put a my school uniform and and ran to my car. Never drove so fast in my life. Got in a few minutes late, but the invigilators were really helpful.

    I had been looking at the first exam sheet i got given, which we then got another where the exam had been moved to the morning. And i spoke to my tech teacher a few days earlier who said good luck for that afternoon ha.

    The exam went really well though as they always give you plenty of time :)

    ok so this is the problem

    as of today i only have 7 entries to the trial this is not possable to run the trial

    if you are coming can you add your names to this list below so i know if i am going to set out as i have to do this on friday pm after work so a long day for me and i am in London all day Saturday and not back till after midnight so a long day on Sunday, so if you are coming and we need about 25 riders min to run, then list below

    i will look at this around 2 pm tomorrow and then make a decision from there on ok thanks

    I was really looking forward to it when it was originally gonna be on 29th, but i can't make this one do to revision that needs to be done.

    I really hope these trials continue, would love to do most, if not every one, from now on as i haven't got to worry about exams after next week. As i paid for my membership at the first comp at Dudwood this means that i'll be entering all the remaining ones from now on B)

  23. Adamant Frame Paint Removing

    It's annodised (sp?) giving it a really tough finish, as i experienced when i sprayed my frame and had to sand it all down. Might be best to use nitromors (sp?) to strip to paint off chemically. Best way to stop rust would be to spray a few coats of laquer on if you're keeping it as a bare metal finish.

    Myself and a friend are up for it. I can't really book the ferry yet as it's not definate definate as we'll have to see after my exams, and also depends on when my friend can finish college. Really looking forward to riding there again though.

    Garmin charge too much to upgrade to European mapping :(
