  1. Really Good Vid crank bolts you've improved a lot since I last rode nice bike too.
  2. Cheeky bugger trying to get validated with my idea lol . But yeah Ive got some and I think they are great they are one of the top choices for the top free riders and downhill racers. They have a really good interface seeing as the have a large over sized axle 22mm and its hollow so there light they also have replaceable pedal threads and i haven't heard of any going baggy but because of there design the interface which would bet baggy can be replaced for a couple of quid. From my experience with these cranks the only downfall of the is that with them having an oversized 22mm axle the bb bearings are really small this means that the bb's don't last all that long. These wold have to be modified to be used with a single small ring too. Well thats my two pennies.
  3. I live in denholme and I know Damian lol
  4. Hey, I saw this petition on the official government website and it is to abolish tax on bikes, bike parts and accessories at the time I am writing this around 5000 people have already signed this. Please sign this peeps as it would be great. Ithink it could happen because the government have already introduced a similar scheme to this one as it is to getting more people commuting on bikes. http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/NoVATonBikes/ CHEERS
  5. You dont have to lock it together because when you get a rear freewheel it will still work just that when you are freewheeling along the rear freewheel will be coasting but when you bring the pedal back round to hop again the the front freewheel would be freewheeling instead. Unless u just want to lock the acs because you dont trust it.
  6. Definately so not get this BB I bought 1 for £30 and 2 hours after installing it i did a drop just over 1 foot and the axle snapped clean in half. Luckily I got it exchanged and got a giga pipe which is sound.

  15. HI, all I have been wanting to convert my trials bike to single speed but i'm too tight to pay £20 for the DMR kit and individual spacers are nearly a pound a pop. Anyway this morning I was messing about with an old cassette and got it apart to find that cassettes contain spacers so anyway I will tell you how to convert your bike to single speed for nothing. Guide Parts Needed 2x cassettes paint Tools Lock Ring tool 2.0mm allen key Screwdriver 1. Remove the cassette from your freehub using the lock ring tool 2. Undo the three bolts with the 2.0mm allen key these may be rivetted in which case just pop the rivetts with the screwdriver by forcing it between the two cogs and turning it. 3.You should then end up with this: 4.It is the small plastic spacers which are needed you may have to repeat steps 1 and 2 with another cassette to get enough spacers. 5. You can now paint the edge of the spacers which you will see. to make it look better. 6. Now just assemble the spacers and the cog onto the freehub making dure that the rear sprocket is aligned with the front chain ring. Then tighten the lockring. You should now have a cool looking single speed set up like this: 7. Now for your mech firstly remove your shifter and gear cable inner and outers. Then get the inner cable and trim it down so that from the metal bung onwards is just 3 inches then pull it through the cable clamp so that it lines the jockey wheel with the cassette cog. Just thought i'd share this with you as it has helped me

  19. Hi, I could explain to you how to true your wheel but its really simple to do yet really complicated to explain but anyway click this link http://mountainbiking.itgo.com/true2.html. Hope I've helped
  20. Sorry mate but i'm afraid that a 2.5 inch tyre will not fit on that wheel although if you get a new wheel it will work with the bike no problems. The reason that a 2.5 inch tyre will not fit on that wheel is because the 2.5 inch tyres are actually for a 19 inch rim not a 20 inch wheel. and believe me you will never get it on a 20 inch rim because they are a tight fit on the 19 inch rims. Hope I've helped.
  21. I have soaked it in turps and it now works fine until i tip it so that the cassette is facing the ceiling it then locks up again then when the cassette is facing the floor again it freewheel's fine
