  1. Just watched it again, it's actually really beasty :)

Nice to see some old skool moves rather than the same old sidehops!

Loving the footjams (Or whatever people call 'em these days... they were called footjams in 2002)

Can I do the soundtrack to your next one?

I've always called them foot squeakers.

And yeah sure! that would be awesome, cheers mate

  2. Cheers for all the good comments, keep em coming :). Should have a new one similar soon(ish) as i have started filming in widescreen which might i add looks so much better. Just need about 3 minutes more of decent clips. Should be a few weeks ish for me to get them then another few weeks for me to throw something together :):)

    Cheers

  3. bollobks just re-read that and your after drive side :( it it was non drive side or a removable axel, we have a sort of clamo type thing with opposite threads on either side. It goes through the axel hole in the bb, clamps itself onto either side of the thread, tighten either side up with big ajustables. then turn whichever side has the thread opposite to the way your undoing the BB cup with a beasty ajustable.

Thats my attempt to explain, not only is it hard to explain, but Im in agony with a crimped (or somthing like that) neck and im immensly tired. Sorry :)

haha no worries thanks for the advice anyway,i'l have another look at it tomorrow and try to come up with a plan, if that fails il resort to giving tarty a ring and seeing if they know anything

  4. right, the drive side cup on my skf bb is shagged, the part of it where the tool is supposed to go on has snapped off leaving nothing on the outside what so ever, the rest of the cup is intact still in my frame. it has managed to screw itself in causing my crank arm to hit against my chainstay. i can't get a tool against the left cup as the spacer is sticking out too far for my tool to reach over it (it normally would if the spacer wasn't sticking out so far)

i need to get this bb out.

i was thinking maybe if i could remove the axle and bearings then i could get to the buggered cup.

    anyone got any bright ideas?

EDIT: i can get some pictures if i haven't explained clearly enough

  5. Need help as to what type and what brand, obviously want something with decent build quality that a few drops aint gonna totally destroy. also gonna need a tripod as well.

Someone give me an idea what i should be looking for? i don't really know what I'm looking for.

    Thanks all

  6. Take the material out the pad and chop a chunk out of the material for the head of the nut, so it would be like you have now, but with material in the first pad. Might have to put some sort of nut on the otherside thou to stop it spinning.

Ahh yeah, i'll give that a go as soon as i've got some glue.

    Cheers

  7. Loos good. Considered popping the material out the backings, chopping a gap in it then putting the bolt in and rebonding it? Would be alot less flex and could get it set up loads closer!

    chop a gap in what?

have considered it will have to get some sort of glue to do that though...

if the pad backings f**ked the pads will wobble all over the place for a start.... and its more satisfaction to think... "i just made that, and it works as good, if not better than the proper ones."

Just got some old skate bolts and backings and 4 small screws and literally just screwed it together. The thing works really well, tried it out tonight, only problem is the brake needs to be set up really far out :( trying to think of a way around this. but i'll probably just end up ordering some proper v pads anyways.

    What do you think?

    Cheers

  9. I know a halfords mechanic, and hammers seem to be the favourite tool in that place, FUNK THAT SHIZZ

    haha tosser

Yeah we can special order try all stuff, also middleburn if i remember rightly.

but i wouldn't recommend special ordering anything. this old lady came into our place about November ordered a set of panniers from Raleigh through us. they turned up last Monday. We chased it back to head office not doing their f**king job properly. also happened with a friend and colleague of mine, wanted an 20mm adapter for his front hub, ordered one from ISON through us. never turned up after 2 weeks he rang head office and had a go again, not doing their job properly, Same day he rang up Billy's and ordered the part he needed, came next day.
