  1. These already saved me two times. Used to run without bar ends for 2 years and a couple of months after I started using them I crashed and the bar went into my stomach so hard that I had trouble breathing for some time, leaving this huge black mark. If I didn't have bar ends I would get properly stabbed by my bar.

Using these for 2 years now. Best bar ends ever!

  2. I enjoyed the video! They have some nice moves.. But the style isn't quite there yet, though the short WB bikes they have now make it look a bit better, if they just let the brakes go, pressure up the tires and get enough speed to roll away with no pedaling it would look better.

  3. With that steering tube length 110mm x 30º stem would be equal as a 90mm x 10º hope stem with 4cm of spacers. On the old inspired due to the high BB is a must having a high front end. As for the bar you can either go for the trialtech high rise which in my opinion has to much up sweep for my wrists on high psi tyre impacts, or the inspired bar which has a bit less up sweep and back sweep which is more comfortable for you're wrists. I tried the gee atherton pro high rise bars too and they feel great, they have a geo closer to a MTB geo like easton monkey lite. I would go for the inspired bar as it has good strength and the mix is spot on for trials/street stuff.

  4. really nice video!

a few days ago i was wondering how is the trials scene in portugal (compared to spain for example)

    thanks for posting!

At this comp. was a bit of a mix. When comps are near to the border usually a few spanish riders come and join us. It's quite difficult making a trials video fun to watch, specially natural and being a competition. I'm glad you guys liked it!

  5. Weird, I found the exact opposite... Currently running 23:16 on mine. Downsizing to 22:15 soon though.

It's what I felt. With higher gear you have to go faster and get further distance from the object in order to get the proper crank timing. Pedal ups to front require pulling up the front wheel near the object as possible and when you do this with a high gear when you do the first stoke to pull it up, the second stroke to nose dive into the object and this is when you get your feet in a odd position.

  6. I already used 18:13, 22:17 and 22:16. If you ride the Inspired Mk.I due to the bigger WB you can ride trials with 18:13/22:16 alright but if you got the Mk.2 a lighter gear like 22:17 will be the best since you have less leverage from the bike you can get extra impulse from you're cranks. I started riding the Mk.2 with the stock 22:16 changed to 22:17 for 2 months and yesterday tried out the 22:16 again and I must say I'm going back to 22:17. It will seem a bit light but is far better for gaps, pedal to front and sides, specially running 65psi on both tires.

  7. Looks nice! Why KHE tires? They wont last very long riding trials unless you run it at 60psi or more. At the front is probably fine. I had Schwalbe Table Tops, they are light at 576gr and I used to have it on the front and rear and at the rear they will just hold without punctures at 60+psi.
