  1. Sorry- im deaf, cant hear that "idiot" swearing or anything like that i remembered andrei butron lost his temper at the first round of the BIU worlds at addingham, got a silly five then lashed out swearing his head off ( i lipreaded him), threw his bike at people (and me!) by accident cos it went the wrong direction , that isnt good sportmanship isnt it!? Pat
  2. i know Danny butler and Chris Doney they dont have poor attitudes or anything like that, youre probably slagging them off cos they got the elite place- you havent- its all part of competing! Pat
  3. Get off at Waterloo Station, head for the london eye, the shell area's right opposite it. funny you started the topic about the london ride and you dont know how to get there lol no offence mate Pat
  4. lol im not giving T-MAGura a slap, im just making a remark, and basically, common (to me!) questions about me being deaf is no issue at all, even on this sport. i respect people who knows about deafness, there no harm in it asking me, at least you know more about it Pat
  5. hmm inspiration can play a big part in Ashton's career, in which in fact some other pros inspire young rider by setting up masterclasses, demos and even biketrial school by monty (cesar canas and Ot Pi) check the big bike park/school on www.biketrial-spain.com, so it isnt just the riding, its how people are influenced by their personalities. i think if Butler or Savage set up masterclasses and do a lot of demos like Ashton, they'll be well known alongside their achievements and theyre still teenagers! after these opinons from y'all made me realise the main factors making them going big in the future. come on fellow riders we need your opinons! Pat
  6. Same here, get get throught to the pics as im not registered in the pic service. Pat
  7. good opinons there ash, there are many others that could go big in the future as well, even though they arentr well known now, but will make a impact around the trials community with their riding personalities. nice one keep them coming in- the more opinons there are, the better to see who would be more likely to go big. Pat
  8. its not about their level of riding- well its about how "popular" or "famous" they will be to the MTB and biketrial world e.g appearing in mbuk, tv etc. ashton has appeared in mbuk more times than any other trials rider has been in it. and the martins are well known in japan. so its about how well known they will be. Pat
  9. Hey all, Just wondering who will become big trials personalities like the Martins (ashton and hawyes) in the next few years? examples of possible riders:- Danny Bulter Chris Doney Ben Savage James Hyland Wayne Mahomet Craig Lee Scott Akrigg? Unknown? if you have a opinon about this topic or add more riders you think will be big in the future of british trials or in the world (can be foreign riders as well like Hermance, for instance) Pat
  10. Supercycles? or go to www.cdtrialsport.co.uk look in shop for parts Pat
  11. Looks heavy and bulky- whats its weight? nice tenisor you got there- flash! Pat
  12. Get a Zona- good ratings from reviews or for for style, GU, basically it what you think best for yourself Pat
  13. hey all, comparing norco frames (or bikes) to other trials brands it makes norco quite out of date (old!) cos other branded frames have no seat, longer and shorter geometry, norco frames are quite bulky in size like 1990's trials bikes. Pat
  14. Good point there, same as Slinger performs better at UCI than BIU, showing that riders like him particulary adapt better at UCI, but BIU has a vast range of riders competing at the worlds than UCI has the top riders competing there. UCI comps are based in one area like livingo, italy in which BIU, in each round is based on selceted different conutries, costing riders money to travel. funnily enough UCI is one large sporting body, it also includes downhill and XC races, raking in more funds to give better sections and higher quality comps. Pat
  15. hey all, just wondering why biketrial has TWO championships, BIU and UCI, two different rules, different standard but why not have only one championship? it would have been bigger, better, more coverage. see what y'all think about this........ two championships or one? Pat
  16. stock can tap higher than mods- even though some mod pros dont even tap.
  17. RB's lever's sharper shape, shorter lever than mags long and far out ones. Pat
  18. yeah i remember you from the hampshire comps and the DJ ride- thanks for lending me your phone mate, sure ill catch you sometime and wont be competing much in the hampshire comps this season as im at uni in london so...... a busy year for me, but ill be still riding though and come back into comps. oh yes........ congrats on snapping up with leeson bikes see you around Pat
