"why you dont have a seat on that bicycle of yours?" i get that most of the time from OAPs, some are annoying, some are interested! once i was riding around Chichester, i was hopping about, gapping etc. then a coach full of OAPs stop by, pouring out of the coach, seeming they were headed for a heritage place for their "weekend trip" instead they went in the other direction and watched me and my friends riding by, they seemed puzzled by "how did he go backwards?" "how did he jump on that?" "funny bicycles" etc etc so better tourist attraction especially japanese people clicking their tiny digital cameras away Pat

Good comp people, didnt do well due to lack of riding! (hadn't touched my ride for 2 months!) cos of uni. these comps get better every year, big thanks to terry and Co. Pat

well... same here as most of the time i ride with Chris doney, the moves he pulls seems freakishly simple to me, but when i try follow him, by looking at his body and bike movement, i cant get it right in which made me realise everyone has their own way of riding, then i did it my way, i did it. not every move everyone pulls e.g. sidehop isnt exactly the same as everyone does, if it was, we'd be like clones! so.... its all about the mind...... look, we're english, so therefore we speak english language, we passed it on americans and they altered it more american-ish

i got an A in my english A-level, its "Kerb" well if you want to call it "curb" im just clarifying for people who doesnt know the term "curb" unless they're american

i FOOKIN hate Chavs and pikeys- real knobheads two things happened- one- whilst i was ridin at southampton a bunch of pikeys (or chavs) surrounded me asking me to pull a tailwhip or a BACKFLIP, i went "im a trials rider and we dont pull moves like that, they're for bmxs, why dont you all ask them at the skateparks?" then called me the shittiest rider around. ever. two- with my friends, we were signing (we're deaf) then a bunch of little chavs across the road stared at us like we're aliens from another planet, we ignored them then they started impersonating us with our signing, that is way off too offensive, we still ignored them, one of my friends told them to piss off our "turf" ( no chavs wanted there) then they came up on us, they were about 11-13 year olds really short and they called us thicks, rehabs, gays etc. then all we did was stood up, then they ran off......... little gobshites, wonder their parents are like!?! chavs go and f**k yourselves Pat (any chavs in this forum- get your heads checked)

i didnt know who Porter is, i first heard about him in the trials community and never seen him ride, first heard about him in mbuk thats all, so im expecting more of him anyway Pat

getting a lot of good opinons about varoius riders, seeing about things aside their riding abilities, broading the views on fame, reputations, personalities and so on.. sorry for those that i havent heard of james porter, who is he?? think he's the ginger guy ( or matt staples?) first heard of porter was in an article about him in MBUK (hip hop page) last month! keep it up any foreign riders you all have a opinon about. most of this thread is focused on british riders, why not add other riders like Hermance, Cousteilleurs?, the next step in this thread perhaps?, see what you all think Pat

hey all, basically, Danny Butler and other Pros, make a living by riding trials in their lives by doing comps,demos etc. they need to EARN money from it, and danny's way of making masterclasses through ebay or anything like that which is a good thing for them otherwise they'll end up like tramps, so thats my point of view, dunno why other people in this forum rip him down or other pros, just leave him as he's trying to make his career worthwhile. I respect all of you, we are a community, keep it strong. all for one.......... one for all Pat
