  1. Can anyone advise me on how to stay on the back wheel when you land on something like a rail? I can't keep the front end up for more than a second or 2. Also, when I'm going for a gap or drop I find it alot harder to get my balnce and then get the confidence to go to the edge of what I'm on. Has anyone else had this problem and does it go when you get more confident at things? Thanks
  2. Thanks everyone, I took apart the lever and the TPA turns fine but when I put it all back together it jams again. I'm gonna give it another go tomorrow. Thanks alot
  3. Thats fecking swet mate, fancy giving me a lecture on making one? Never taken a lever apart before so may have a few problems
  4. Not sure, I havent used it much. It just stopped turning when I pulled the lever and when I pulled it back to a certain point the lever stopped as if something was stopping it going further.
  5. Hello, This morning I tried to set up my brake, just fiddling about with the TPA. So I got it about right and then pulled the lever and <click> I then tried to turn the TPA and it's jammed. I can just about get it round half way with a screwdriver but it doesn't seem to do much. Also, problem no. 2, one of the pads goes further and sooner than the other (sorry don't know how to describe it), I'm presuming this is something to do with the crossover cable as it works better on the side where the main cable goes into the caliper. Hope that all makes sense. Anyone had this problem before?
  6. How are you voting more than once? I'm bored so if you tell me how I'll put in a few more.
  7. True, they have a 5 arm (?) spider so theres no way you can get a freewheel on there.
  8. How are V12's not worth the extra money, and how are v8's going to be better than them? Do you not think that there are obvious advantages from say, V12 magnesiums to a set of V8's. I've owned both and the bearings in the V8's went after about a month on my downhill bike but the V12's are still going strong. V8's with terror pins would be a good idea, but I'd still go with hognesiums or the DB BMX pedals
  9. Got my vote, although the womens garage is ever so tempting
  10. Have to say, this guy is right. Bit heavy but grippy as f*ck. Made a tasty little 5-stitch hole in my shin aswell
  11. Thanks guys, I'll take it to my LBS and see if they've got one to fit
  12. I think you should tighten it up Crank bolts come loose fromt ime to time, put some locktite on it or if it keeps coming loose the BB threads might be dodgey.
  13. Each individual link is too big, have tried about 3 different chains. I've not got a gear ratio at the moment as I've got no cranks on it
  14. Yeah, onza stickyfingers tyres fir 20" rear, rear CC's definately don't I had to pour alot of boiling water on mine just to get it on a 19" Just got a rear CC and it feels so different from the tyre I used to have, lots more bounce!
  15. So, what do I do? New chain or new sprocket? The chain is pretty new, but to be honest I don't think it's just wear as the sproclet looks pretty new and the chain (just from what goes round the sprocket) looks as if it should be about a link shorter in total. Bit annoying this
  16. Ok, never had this problem before but I just bought a new wheel and my chain seems as if it needs shorter links to fit on it. Is this a common problem and are there any "short link chains" that would make it work and still fit on the front chainring?
  17. Because, like me, he couldn't believe that someone as immature as you could get validated.
  18. I'm prepared to put the effort in as it's something I enjoy doing, was thinking of making a trials frame but that might be a bit optimistic since I know nothing about making one and wouldn't know where to get the parts/materials. So maybe a booster or bashring I'm thinking...
  19. Just wondering, as next year I'm going to do resistant materials (just done options) , what kind of things it's possible to make in the final GCSE exam or whatever you want to call it. Anyone here do it? Just need to know what is actually possible and what kind of thing is expected. Oh and by the way I'm thinking bike related Thanks alot
  20. Don't think so mate, may be though Nice t-pro by the way
  21. I've got a magura but need a 19" rear wheel/tyre/4 bolt mounts, which are all currently in the post, before I can use it
  22. Theres also been like 3 topics exactly like this so search before you make a new one
  23. Mines in my sig, pretty poor spec but hey, it's a t-pro. Can't work out how to upload an image
  24. Thanks guys. Wasn't working so I just took the laquer/stickers off with nitromors and left it at that. Looks pretty good IMO
