  1. Got my surface piercing done a couple of weeks ago, that was a nasty one The scaffold I had never healed so had to take the top one out Buuut my lip healed all nicely Has anybody here had their ears scalpelled? Don't fancy walking round for weeks with a pair of normal studs in my ears before I stretch Only problem is that I have basically no ear lobes
  2. I'm not planning on doing it myself, doing my lip was bad enough for me :$ Still slightly undecided on where to have it, will try that grid thing. Also going for 2 scalpeled ears on the same day, should be a laugh
  3. Thanks guys I've heard it's best to use the staple shaped bars, as it puts the least stress on the skin? And the piercer I use is a good reliable guy, so that side of it should be ok. Dan Clark and Rocks370, do yours tend to get in the way at all? Where I want it should be just high enough not to get caught on belts/jeans so it should be ok, but does it restrict what you can do at all?
  4. Has anyone on here had one? Looking to get one somewhere below my belly button but I've heard some peoples bodies reject it and the skin above it dies, leaving a nasty scar. I've had a scaffold, cartilage and lip done before, so am familiar with the cleaning/healing processes but has anyone had/known any previous experience with them?
  5. If it's big enough I'm pretty sure you can get it out by tensioning the spokes around it.
  6. Yeah, about a 10 minute ride, I get up there quite a bit but they've stopped racing until further notice because of a changeover
  7. About 5'5, and yeh, it's like riding a kids bike Don't really race but gonna give the dragons a go this year I'm hoping.
  8. My tiny bike, toxsin mod short. Not quite finished yet, still need new cranks, forks and back wheel. Can understand people will thinnk it's too short but it suits me. My big bike, nearly done after 2 years intense m1. Excuse the crappy pics.
  9. No doubt they're all nice guys, was just wondering as it probably wont happen until after new year. Cheers guys.
  10. oh my god zoo we were so close
  11. oh my god, I'm your fridge 4 buddy
  12. someone stole my letters
  13. So, my dad got me a booster as one of my xmas things, except tarty didn't have the one I wanted in stock so they sent a different one (echo control 4 bolt). Put it on my bike, mod, and found it doesn't fit. I looked it up and it says that it's for use with stocks only. Basically the tyre rubs on it but would only need to be moved about half a cm backwards. Problem is the chains too tight and there isn't enough room to put in another link. Any easy way to get around this or should I just send it back and try to get a replacement?
  14. Mod or stock? I've got the short mod and I love it but could understand how people would think it was too short at about 960wb.
  15. How painful's the tongue? Wanted it done for ages but I'm a pussy :$
  16. I tend to use nitromors if they're painted, caustic soda if anodised. Not sure if caustic soda would weaken them at all though
  17. Got it . I can't get the light right on the rear end, makes it look a bit poor. Any tips?
  18. I would upload some photos but photobucket and pinkbike don't seem to like the format my photoshop pictures are in, I just get that little red cross.
  19. Surely if they're out of stock... you wouldn't expect them within 48 hours of ordering?
  20. Thanks alot mate, makes a bit more sense now Anyone got ideas about getting the colour of the frame right? Mine always seem to come out quite blurry and the sharpness tool just pixelates it.
  21. Not sure if this is the right part of the forum so feel free to move me Anyway, Having a couple of problems on photoshop and seeing some peoples stuff on here I'm sure someone can help me out. If I want to have say a rider in colour and the background black and white, how do I do this? I've tried creating a new layer of the rider but I can't put any of the filters on just that layer. Also, what the best way to get a good finish when doing a frame or something? Do most people use the polygonal (?) lasso tool? And how do you get the light right? Any help appreciated.
  22. A bit how I feel. Thinking about a short stock, as I like to be able to manual etc easily. Long mod's don't really do it for me though. I'll probably stick to my mod for a bit and see how it goes, I'll probably change my mind in a couple of weeks Damn I wish I was rich. Cheers for the advice.
  23. That's probably what will happen, just seems I could push my drops and gaps on a stock. Anyway, thanks for the help. Guess I'll stick to the mod for now
