A bit of a problem, I've been trying for a while now and put in alot more than I should have but it's still not working...Do I just keep putting it in until it does something? I'm leaving it about 10 minutes if that matters.
-
Not really feeling the zig-zag design myself, and it looks a bit square if you know what I mean. If I was making it I would try and give it a more curved design.
It looks good if that's what your into though
-
Yeah, I'll put some up. It'll probably be tomorrow evening though.
-
Thanks everyone, I'm gonna try it tomorrow.
Zoo have you got any pics of your t-pro once it's been stripped?
-
Lol that would be a surprise . Does it take the anodisising stuff off easily or does it take a lot of coats? Just wondering whether I should start it tonight or wait until tomorrow...

Mate laquering a frame couldn't be simpley, it's just a spray and if you do about 10 very thin layers it comes out fine. Going to buy this caustic soda stuff in a minute so we'll see how it goes

Please use the search!
Ummm, read my first post, I was checking to see if there was anything about t-pro's, such as what joe-elding said.
Joe-Elding thanks alot, does this stuff work as well as paint stripper? (as easy to use?)
-
Hi guys.
The paint on my t-pro is looking a bit tatty so I'm going to take the paint off, do I need to laquer it after I've done it or just polish it? I read that topic someone made about stripping paint etc. a while ago and have done a few parts before so should be ok but any tips to get a nice finish?
-
Thanks
It's just a little question, didnt think it was even worth putting in trials chat, just need an answer

Is there any different sizes of 4 bolt brake clamps? Just checking, if it helps it's for a t-pro.
Also does anyone know if the anodised ones from BTC come with the mounting bolts?
-
Surely if you bleed it well and often enough it won't get air in it and rot the seals
-
Well, I know who should...
-
Partz, you gotta get me some pics of those bad boys
-
Ash-kennard, I have to say on this one rare occasion I totally agree with you
-
Theres nothing wrong with the DDG's as a starter frame, I used to do street on one and it stood up fine.
Build it up, learn the basics, then if you feel the need to upgrade the frame do so.
-
"nice i like that ever thinking of selling it or frame or parts??"
I think it may be a hint
This is about the third topic he has started asking (or implying) if anyone is selling a python
-
For god sake how many times have you been told for sales/wanteds aren't allowed in the new members area?
You not planning on ever getting validated?
-
Been trying them again but with a v-brake as my maggy's a bit fecked. No matter how much I try I can only get about a foot max.
I can balance on the back wheel fine but I think rely on the pedal kick too much and don't throw my weight forward. If I try to use my weight though I end up going nowhere or doing a wheelie type thing! It's so annoying!
-
Cheers guys, we should make a TF dictionary
I'll go with fishtail drop 'cos it sounds funky
-
Just wondering what that drop is called where you get to the edge of an object, go onto the front wheel, spin around your back end and then put your weight on it and drop.
Just curious really

Happy birthday mate

Thanks alot everyone

Mod. Thinking along the lines of the anodised echo ones, are these any good?
-
Well thanks everyone, seems like a friendly place here!
Just one question I do have though is that at the moment my cranks are just bog standard 5 arm ones and I'm looking to eventually upgrade to ones that don't have a spider (sorry, no idea what they're called) as they seem to be what most people run. I was wondering A: what would be a good, not too expensive pair to go for? and B: how does the chainring attach to them?
Cheers
