Had a nightmare today on the new bike basically couldnt tension the chain properley for longer than five mins. I have a zhi rear hub and i have to run the snail cams on the outside of the frame but it just isnt holding the wheel in place this is because the cams are sitting on the bolts right? and not the axle..?
Anyone know a solution to this or will i have to grind the spacers down so that the snails will run on the inside of the frame??

I have this same problem now with the same mounts.. I even ground the lips off the mounts today but it still slips so i have gave up and a v brake is going on this week...;}

Not sure will try and weigh it this week.. And no i wouldnt swap it for a barbie bike! haha

Good lad! How's the rear tyre? I might get one of those.

Cant comment on what the tyre rides like yet but it does feel quite a hard rubber.. My mate had to order it from ison distribution as we couldnt find one for sale and this was the only one they had.. Its the triple compound one which i think is the wrong type as there is gooey gluey compound which is the softer one i think,....

So finally got around to building this.. Couple of things needed to finish it off, still waiting on my front tyre from crc and i need to get a shadow chain this week as i have a naughty half link on that i had lying around which i cannot trust in the slightest after snapping a few..
Dying to test it out tomorrow with a fresh grind but from the five mins i have had on it it just feels right, just gonna have to be careful with the chain i am running so can't test it properley till i sort that out.. Comments welcome

Gaz has a well nice style! Was good to ride with you two the other day had a good laugh, I was gutted that I didn't get much riding done but hey thats how it is somedays

Wow loved the video bike looks so fun to ride this has made my mind up for me... Will be ringing tarty this week for a new frame and rims, just hope they have got them in stock!
Also what are the schwalbe tyres like and what are the alternatives?

I have just tested the bike for 1 hour but so far I like this one best of all bikes I ever had.
Could you explain why and how, and compare to your other frames,,, Was you riding stock before the because?

I am dying to get the because it's a risk as I would have to sell my 09 control which feels almost perfect..
Need some feedback on them because 24s, the kabra 24 from Spain and also the rockman when that comes out. (any news on the rockman 24?)

After watching this vid to the end, checkout PSYCHO TRIAL DAY VOL-1, the video effects and editing are bloody amazing. Think it was filmed & edited by the same guy who filmed Giles and Giaco in HD.

the bb is too high for my liking, made the bike ride strangely.
How strange though? I think you would need atleast a good days riding on one to figure out what are the pros and cons..
I had a 24 Marino built similar to Damons one but that was super long was 1085 bit of an experiment but because of the s**t tensioner design on it which broke after 5 mins i couldn't really get a feel for the bike. From what i did do on it, it certainly had potential but being made of steel certainly didnt help it, i wonder if anyone on here has still got it or is damons still about.? ( Mine was a white one super long for a 24 someone should recognise it)

They sold really really quick. I can't help but think they barely got any in though.
According to Mark and Ali, it has the rolling power of a stock (nearly) and the flickiness and gapping feel of a mod (nearly).
Something like that.
And this is why i want one i think they would be the perfect bike for trials..
They sold out and not one of them has been on here !? Weird..

IINM it has the same geometry as an Inspired, only a shorter front end. So it would feel pretty close.
I thought the wheelbase was something like 1060, just looked on tarty and it states 1040 thats weird. I cant see it feeling anything like an inspired the stays are a lot shorter and the bb is a lot higher.. Wouldn't want one if it was like an inspired.

Does anyone know if someone has bought one of these yet,, really curious to how they ride / feel etc.. Maybe one of the tarty lads can comment further?

I am still waiting for my tyre from chain reaction a schwalbe smart sam up front... the big betty does seem quite grippy but it doesnt like off camber rocks much. might give the 2.7 maxxis a try soon.
