  1. just spen $535 with dan-ko but i cant contact him ordered a czar ivan Has anyone got his dads business number? please! all help GREATLY appreiciated thanks Jason hill Edit: £535 punds sterling! not dollars and other parts
  2. ive just bought a A1 frame off of trials-uk £265 inc p+p
  3. i also agree, you see, i tend to break alot of parts on my bike, mainly BBs but having a break and riding a different bike or just having a break is a HUGE help! Because when you go back to tials you think of different moves, lines, and because you have rode a different bike you learn different ways to controll your bike. Thats a good thing with trials! The possibilities are endless! Edit: you should be able to download the vid off of his site or any trials vid site.
  4. I speak to Dan-ko alot and he rides one. He seems to have no problems and he's a skillfull rider. I would say there good frames. But i have jsut ordered my admant 26" so i don't know how a mod ride's but i'm sure their good.
  5. I work in a car parts dept for SEAT and SUZUKI and i know how they feel getting phone calls and orders every 5 seconds. Give them a chance! As said everyone makes mistakes it even could have been you Aswell as Trials-uk , tartys are the best bike shops around and you dont get many! so its not really a good idea to annoy them because they could just tell you to roll inthe other direction!
  6. erm... not that i can think of hmmmmm try e-mailing echo
  7. Like these ones? (p.s- im not showing off me bike because the frame has snapped) I only recomend these tyres if you are a experienced rider or a soft lander, they pinch flat very easily! if you want to buy them you have to buy a pair! but there front and rear specific. from www.trials-uk.co.uk There in the special offer section
  8. im not sure to get a A1 or the 06 A1 help
  9. hers an idea i tried on an old rim - do a light gring then but small ridges in the rim with the grinder. not too deep but deep enough for the pad to lock! it works! copyrighted to Me
  10. when i converted my mtb into a single speed i had the same problem! it sounds weird but certain chains fit too snug and cause the wheel to move no matter how tight you do the bolts or quick relece! i even snapped a quich releace doing it! try replacing the chain. a different make of chain. KMC? i replaced my chain and its perfect! or use a dmr or a push up ir push down tentioner instead?
  11. or look on the for sale stuff on here?
  12. Maggies -hs33s limited edition green -
  13. im running a 39mm on the front and a 46mm on the rear! V!Z rims plus theres loads of colours www.vizbikes.com to order go to www.trials-uk.co.uk
  14. lmao! well do all adamant riders have to have a white stripe across their eyes GU - Going Up? Base ?? erm as in the floor because mine isnt going anywhere! bloody snapped fame
  15. before i snapped my frame i would get little chavs come up to me and take the mick out of my little £8 trials seat! So i either pick the bike up and go to chuck it at them or rock-walk towards them and they run away! One chav didnt belive me that hs33s were hydralic! they kept saying that there was a cable in there Plus re-bleeding hs33s with water has better reactions then oil!
  16. Erm so how is someone supposed to get a seat if they own something like a B-T or an Echo control or an adamant etc... Personaly having no seat has advantages - 1) a little less weight ie - no seat pole or seat 2) more clearence. p.s - anyone see the article writen by martin ashton in mbuk a few months back moaning about how trials bikes all have no seats and how trials is 'supposed' to be about being able to do it on 'any old mountain bike' So hmm lets think.. does'nt all his trials bikes designed by hime have no seats!
  17. To get the bolt out: use a small flat headed screw driver to turn the bolt or borrow one of those nifty mini drills that bend at a right angle. also remember not to wreak the thread! New bolt: i would recomment going to your local bike shop or even your local bolt supplier and seeing if they have one which will fit.
  18. haha theres no point getting new pads yet..... Because everytime i pull the brake the frame moves in the opposite direction! and its snapped on the seatpost weld (top) on the left hand side of the bike
  19. Yes i have been told by a few people that they are common to snap there Im somehow going to send it off for them to look at, but im definatly going to get an adamant A1 not sure to get a long or a short! i felt comfortable on pat donovans BT long not sure yet
  20. Thanks Im saving for an Adamant A! short but i may get a A1 long. After riding pat donovants B-T long it felt comftable having a long frame.
  21. Well some of you will laugh at me some of you wont. I used to post loads of pictures of my trials bike when i finished building it. It annoyed people to which i agree i did go a bit OTT. But i have bad news! IT SNAPPED! A pic before it snapped: A picture of the gap that snapped it: (p.s i made the gap it snapped later that week) And now the Picture OF the snap! The thing is ive got to send it to north yorkshire to get the companey to even look at it! and post goes by size AND weight even though its light its still going to cost laods to top the week off even more both my nans died that week! ive just got in from the wake of wone of them tonite R.I.P nans!
