    Dave

    Hey Dave,

That video was made in Kimmeridge, on the South Coast near Wareham. Should be on the map!

    Nate

really wanna ride some mans stuff this weekend :(

wheres your secret place nath? (PM i wont tell :shifty: )

ha ha, you would'nt be able to find it anyway, your need a tour guide lol

Winspit is very close to Kimmeridge In Wareham, Dorset. Basically the jurrassic South Coast is stuffed with excellent places to ride.Winspits local village is called 'Worth Matravers', That's all im allowed to say :P

I've already got a pompey ride going, although I would love to get on the rocks. Well see how many people want to go to pompey.

  2. Evening all,

Have'nt had a proper ride in a long time. Who's up for a street ride in Portsmouth or Southampton? Make your vote, which ever location wins, that will be the place to ride. 11am at the spar in Southampton or 11am at Guildhall in Portsmouth.

    Nath :)

  3. Im in the same situation as you. Trials used to more fun and exciting before a load of local mates quit. Now days in my area, there are only two riders which are in my eyes motivated to ride, but we rarly ride. Best thing to do, is get to the group rides on the weekend, make some new friends and go from there.

What happened to the good days!

  4. Would you be up for competing or just attending?

    Yes, for sure!

What would be the best format - similar to natural trials i.e A number of timed sections or something more radical?

I think the timed sections work well, but also I think there could be a more interesting way of testing the skills of the rider.

What would make the event off the map?

    I don't understand that one...

Would beginners like coaching from Danny Mac?

    For sure

  5. One key rule:

To loosen, turn towards the front end of the frame.

To tighten, turn towards the rear of the frame.

Use plenty of greese and check before each ride that the bb is tight. (Y)

  6. 1.) Take the cap off the master chamber on the lever (keep lever level)

2.) Undo the bleed bolt on the brake cylinder, 'tight then loose, tight then loose' this gets the fluid moving. You should see oil pumping out. If not, wait as it could be an air bubble.

3.) Keep checking the master chamber on the lever is topped up with oil

4.) Once you feel there are no air bubbles in the system, do the the blled bolt up. Top up the master chamber on the lever.

5.) put the cap back on the master chamber.

6.) clean the brake up with Halfords car brake cleaner (if you have halfords out there)

    7.) bed the brake in

    Hope it helps

  7. Hi Reece,

I am not to sure if you remember or not, but the last time when we last spoke I mentioned to you that I will contact you as soon as your replacement frame arrives, it was due last week, but there has been a delay within the logistics, as we are still currently waiting for it to arrive with us. Your frame is here with us, and all parts are taken out and ready to go into your new frame, as this is what you requested.

Please give me a call if you need to know more information.

    I was right :)

  8. Nathan your way off the mark, I've sent two frames back to him before that were cracked, 1 black mumba stock and 1 echo control 2004. Both times Dan took pictures and sent them to the companies, they would then give their response as to whether it was under warranty or not. Dan is really not gonna spend the money to send 1 frame to china or where ever regarding warranty, he's too tight with his money.

Not really Nick, I just suggested a possible reason. You dont know for sure why this has happened, overwise this topic would have been over by now. From previous experience I believe it depends with the manufactor really and also who the importer is, to how the frame is dealt with.

  9. Im not a buisnessman, but im quite sure that rule number 1 about buisness is keep your customers happy. By doing this..they will return and generate more buisness for you..

If he cant get that right..he's in the wrong game.

That's a fair point. But to be honest we all know trials-uk isnt perfect...

  10. The best bet is to call Trials-uk, as sometimes an email can be miss leading.

I think that Dan has received the frame, but not informed you. Then he has sent the frame to Neon bikes in China for inspection, which could take a while due the shippers wanting to fill there boats up to the maximum before they depart as money is tight in the credit crunch. The chances are that Dan is wanting to send you a Neon Bow frame when he receives them (As I explain about the shipping, it could take some time) Also I’ve heard Dan has got a lot to do at the warehouse and may of forgot about this. It does happen even if your customer service is great.

Give Dan a call tomorrow, chase up on the situation and go from there. It all could be a miss understanding.
