it wouldnt work ashtons as well as most bikes are heattreated so rewelding will just do nothing and it will crack again in about a week so bacily yer frames nackered! (it happened to me on saterday)

with a clean paint brush 'paint on' some WD40 on the tyre sidewalls it makes them look shiny its what garages use if you have it servised -
