When my plaz pads done this on a smooth rim all i done.......was clean the rim clean water.....and just rough the surface of the rim up with sandpaper...this takes a tiny layer of the pad off and allows them to bed in much quicker.........place the sand paper in you hand and go around the rim in a circular motion pressing fairly hard......this will sort you right out You may thank me when your done Dave
