rock pads need a 30/50 degree angle when it comes to a grind ....no need to press mega hard medium grind is fine......i have used stone discs and metal cuting discs ....im using a 2.5mm cutting disc and it gives me a beastly grind......always remember u need to brush the rim fast........ and benito and carlse both use stone cutting discs 4mm wide 70 degree angle

I also loved plazzie pads .But due to the poooo weather hear i moved to rock pad blues ......best move i ever made .they bite well. hold wel.l dont slip. sound nice. slightly harder compound so will last longer

No you dont need a bigger rotor.......i would recomend wacking your rotor in hot hot water with a drip of washing up liquid then clean it well.then clean it in clean water......get a little bit of petrol and pour it on the pads and set them on fire a few times......then ride around on the bike with the brake on slightly and wack some water on the disc and pads every so often for about a day...that will sort it out dave x
