i have run both.......a maggie on the front is verry powerfull.....with some decent pads with or with out a grind/tar........after a while i got fed up of a front maggie due to if you have 2 travel around on your bike ......going down a hill using your front brake kills your ears........so i went to disc........much better......... i would also say get a bb7....easy to maintain /silent ...and best of all its super power and performance but really its up 2 you........run witch ever you wish ......we dont know what u like the feel of/dont know your riding style bla bla bla ect ect ect

ive used monty spray its ok.......ive used a tiny weenie bit of tar on a clean rim it works slightly better but the best set up by far has to be.......light sharp grind 05 maggie with water bleed and either plazz crm pads ....or koxx reds amazing brake............ i would say if you dont wish to run a grind get your self a set of either pads listed above and only a small amount of tar.......works verry well dave

hahahah thought that would make some one chuckle., but on a serious note......i ride because i love to ride..also keeps me fit..and to show people what this sport really is and well its super fun ....people like damon watson and chai imspire me to go bigger and when you nail a line you thought you could never achive you are like yessssssssssss come on ! and yeah i cant play tennis...

yeah grant ok fair enough...........but i know that koxx/tryall rims are not cheese i run them.......2 rims a year........meh not bad........i would try the echos out but the rear only comes as 32 hole drillings.........so il never know if they are any good.............tryall have not let me down so far and my grind stays verry sharp for at least a month. dave

ERMMMMMM..........well i had problems with 221ti and a koxx 47mm rear rim with plazzy pads......and i think the rock pads have more material than plazzys.......so im guessing no.........
