  1. no, people dont actually talk like that, cam was kidding around. song has been used before in a shit ton of videos i know- mainly hamiltons part in federal and the scotland section of earthed 2 as well as others. i used it because i like the band and i like the song, i dont care who used it before me really. the band is clinic, they are among my favorite bands. the song is an older one from them called "cement mixer" the post gap thing was silly but like tra said a lot of other stuff was rediculously harder. andrew's vid is much better. i spent a whopping hour throwing this together. and as for the lens... im pretty tired of explaining why i use it. this time around i filmed everything with it just to piss off certain types of people. if i watch a video with a lens like that i dont even notice it being there. i dont understan why some people cant handle the shit. also it doesnt really give false perspective. if the wall or rock is a foot over bar height when he's lining up for it, then.... well... it's a foot over bar height. and if his bike fits twice into a gap.... then yeah, the gap is two bike lengths. it's not like the lens actually tripples the size of a move, everything else in the frame is changed too to match. anyways, blah blah blah... ill post a second vid eventually.
  2. I come off as an angry willy because I probably am one. people don't have to listen to me if they don't want to- that's fine. I don't have to share my experience or knowledge with anyone but I choose to try and help people. when I try to help people and I just get shot down as "oh, who the f**k is this guy- how the hell would he know" it just gets old. people assume im some jackass who doesnt even have these pads (or any experience with any number of other topics). the brothers did have problems with the pads coming off before. what did they do? sell them then? NO. they went back and found something else until they found something that stuck the pad on so damn well that they stopped ripping off under their rediculous brake stresses. I guess I find that people just assume too much about somethign they shouldnt. looking back on it I am guilty of assuming too much about people on here as well. if people are that skeptical about these pads, they don't have to buy them. people that see the light will buy twenty pairs and never hurt themselves and make tons of progress because they have brakes they can trust.
  3. word jang- someone will likely read that but because of their second grade reading comprehension level they will misconstrew it to mean something completely different like "have had no problems what so ever with the pads" will somehow turn into "the backings are smaller so they are clearly weaker and will all fail" once it hits their brains. o well... im just an angry person sometimes. :P
  4. I just smashed my face with a ball peen hammer. turns out it was less painful than reading the rediculously stupid crap some of you people are posting. I honestly have considered the possibility that you are trying to sound that goddamn stupid.... (Y) I have been riding with these pads (two versions, early and late prototype versions) for a while but it seems like no matter what I post about them and what kind of info I give, people just don't read it or ignore it and continue to post the dumnest things they can possibly think of.
  5. like I said before- best trials brake pad I have ever tried... and I have tried pretty much everything.
  6. I honestly doubt that was even a full mm. I would like to see one of these nay-saying clowns hand make a brake pad better...
  7. I was thinking about that same thing readin that last post... what do people think pads are glued on with some magic fairy epoxy that is totally unique to plaz and echo/zoo pads alone or something? nevermind- reading people's idiocy gives me a headache and explosive runs.
  8. true that adam- you don't seem to fit the mold on here at all.
  9. im glad someone knows what sarcasm is....
  10. and another thing- how can you judge someone by the posts their dad makes... jimmy takes time out of his day to help a ton of riders when he makes his posts... he's doing more for the trials community than... hmmm... just about everyone I can think of that posts a ton of useless junk all the time. this thread is dripping with ignorance and idiocy from both sides of the pond. stupid people are every where.
  11. what he said. oh wait guess what I have said that how many times now? do people just ignore everything I say at all times or something? webster is sick. jeremy got -3 and webster got -1? holy crap what does that say about the pro courses for them- maybe that they are easy. same thing at worlds this last year, first was like 17 points, 2nd was like 18 and third was like 20... if the sections are hard like they should be the podium woul dhave some separation. I get the strange sense I have already made this same post about 20 times already on other sites in a bunch of other threads... will people listen this time? probably not.
  12. they are on the "internet" if you look for them...
  13. OH MY GOD- you can totally tell just by seeing the picture that since one is glued on like a WHOLE millimeter crooked and from the color that they are totally just exactly like all these pads that have come out in the past! They are spitting copies on old and new monty pads, echo pads, and everything else that has ever existed!!! holy shit... some of you people need to think a little before you just smash your palms down on the keyboard and post stupid crap. who ever said you cant judge a book by it's cover earlier- I owe you like 5 dollars if we ever meet just because you don't have your head up your ass. have you heard the brake pads in the coust videos? do shit brakes make that kind of sound? do crap brakes not hold when they land on rediculous angles and in crazy positions? I don't know how many people in the world have these pads (it's not many) so I can say with a lot of certainty that almost everyone here is speaking from no experience. I can tell you though that I hate maguras with a pasion... (not The passion, but certainly "a" passion) and these pads have given me the very best braking perfomance I have ever had despite the crippling magura factor involved. these pads are amazing. they have never let me down. I will use no other pad from now on. as for what else is good out there now- koxx bloxx with fequent grinds are the second best set up I have found.
  14. well, theo does barspins... but he's on a "street" bike when he does them- not a real trials member of the cco trials crew.
  15. yeah, people like me don't put out like over a dozen videos of trials riding on the net... a simple thing like looking around on a big ass american site with like 2200 members could easily stir up some non-street riding american videos. thats a lot of work though. if you want to see jeremy riding just go download my paradise found movie that some pricks put on the net a while ago- people seemed to really be into it when it was free. reading comprehesion is hard sometimes so I totally understand why people didnt catch when I said somethig about english riders winning worlds- world championships is UCI... biu is its own little floaty deal out there that is only recognized by itself. savage and martyn are amazing riders so don't take this point as an attack on them. im just saying- how many english riders have won "worlds" (as in the uci world championships)... same as the americans. im glad to see savage and butler make it to finals this last year- I hoep they can do it again when they are in elite class, that would be really great.
