  1. no because all the energy from hitting the crank arm goes into the crank arm should slide right off
  2. This works for me. First turn the bike upside down, so you get a better view of the crank, Then take a ball ended hammer and put the ball end into where you would put the crank puller, get somebody to hold it there while you hit the other side hard with a lump hammer this stops the energy from "hitting it hard" from doing anything other than taking off your crank job done.

  8. such a nice bike love it are you riding morecambe on sunday ?
  9. I know Im probably not what you would call an experianced rider but here goes; In my opinion stiff frames would (sorry to use the phrase) feel better for most moves in trials, due to It reacting quicker but there are alot of streety moves that i dont think i could peform on a stiff frame eg 360's 180's stuff like that, but on the other hand i suppose there would have to be a small amount of flex in any frame because would'nt no flex= snap happy?
  10. You need to be validated before you can buy or sell on this forum pal.
  11. Polar bear dont care about his wifes new lover. He just wants her back. Best thread ever.
  12. One thing to check when you take it apart is the bearing inside the freehub body, the one closest to the side where the pawls engage with the hub. I have smashed this bearing twice and both times it has resulted in a grinding sound and then the freehub just locked up completely. It might not be but definately worth a check .
  13. thankyou i wanted to do something different i also dont like the colour of the front tyre but it is really grippy the cranks are second hand so are a little bit worn so i have to screw them in a bit further as i did'nt have a washer that fitted inside the crank arm but also had the drilling to take an isis crank bolt.
