  3. i had the same problem i just couldnt pedal hop to save my life lol but i got told to sort of do a wheelie you push down on your cranks do quatre of a rotation and the bring your cranks back to the starting postion and strike again do this to start the after try pulling you brake in between each strike of your cranks then when you are fine doing this start pushing more downwards then pulling up you will then start pedal hopping just ignore me if this makes no sense at all to you

  12. You read it, now actually do what it says and you will stand more chance of getting validated.
  13. both storeys sound great anymore? how does the python ride i was thinking bout getting one but i had ago of one ages ago and i found it really hard to flick onto the back wheel. might of been his set up though. im wanting (hoping) that i can do the tyke trials next year but didnt really want to this year, been tied up with gcse revision ect .
  14. monty ti set up with 1 disk only i had ago on a friends double disk and i was really weary of the rear disk it was too much worry and wasn't really worth the hassle a rear magura set up correctly with decent pads would do the same job i liked the bike because its really light and really flickable. they also made me look as if i'm really smooth which i am defiantly not
  15. i would make sure you get on rides and try peoples bikes and try your best to try those ^^^ specific bikes or even try different veritys i.e short and long bikes, and high and low bottom bracket rise. fergus
  16. Hey, I was just wondering on how you have done whilst learning trials? and what have you been most impressed about when out riding? My review from when I have been learning trials… I first started trials in august time I started on a second hand t-pro I got this because my friend who got me into trials advised me to get it and said it was a good starter bike. In them days I literally didn’t have a clue how to do anything involving trials and I was extremely new to the sport. I was riding round with my mates for a few weeks watching them and trying to pick up on techniques. for the next months I found trials really boring because all I was learning was how to hop (not using cranks! ) and how to ride up to objects and put my front wheel on them and sort of just chuck myself up any way I could. Meanwhile when I was learning this my friend was getting really good and I started downloading top class videos from the forum these both inspired me to carry on with trials. So I started going out during the week (school nights), which was completely new to me as I’ve only ever gone out on my bike on the weekends. I started to play on the curbs outside my house learning how to sidehop up it, wheel swap it and also drop of it I know this is very lame but I had to start off small it was then round about Christmas time and I was really liking trials so I upgraded lots of parts on my bike and spent all my Christmas money on it!!! (I know,Dedication or what!) I got a new monty frame, front wheel and front brake I started getting much better on this because I felt like it was shorter and I had a lot more control. I was bash plating objects and even back wheeling little objects I’ve been getting higher and higher since I learnt these techniques and im now starting to peddle hop about time to! how have yous lot got on?
