  1. Hi All

Here are a few pictures of my 2012 rides.

I have gone for the Koxx Sky 2 in 20" and 26" and they seem to both ride great so far. The specs i am using on both seem to work really well and i hope to have a video to follow within the next few weeks.

A massive thanks to the guys at Tartybikes for their support and the help they give me and also their patience with all the stupid questions i have to ask haha.

    Hope you like them :)

    Cheers james...

Looking good mate, which ones mine? Black stem on the 26 would be better lol.

  2. Basicly i ain't rode in 3+ years! :o and am getting back into it soon, i am aware that time have changed alot in every way possible, but the 1 thing i hope ain't is that the rocks in dockside in chatham? anyone know if they are still there? if they are are they ridable without getting a bollocking by securaty/getting nicked by the old bill? also are there any other decent spots or new spots that are popular nowadays around kent/medway? please help lol.

herne bay sea front, reculver, samphire hoe(dover),folkstone

  3. Thanks

Bought a second hand but like new Onza Bird, 20" wheels cable disc on front normal brake on the back.

He is 12 but about 5ft 7" tall, been riding BMX for the last year.

I will show him it on You Tube, were could I get the DVD?

    Oh whats a track stand???

Try amazon, I got a spare copy of tricks and stunts you could have cheap.

A track stand is basically balancing on the spot, All will be explains in the art of trials.

  4. All ready to go, bike ready, our sons all keen to start, but were to take him?

Any one local ish to St.Helens who could give him a few tips / lessons? We are happy to travel.

Ideally over the Xmas school holidays as we wont let him on it before as its for Xmas

What bike did you go for in the end and how old is he?

I would suggest watching the art of trials by Ryan leech and ticks and stunts DVD first (maybe watch it your self then relay the information to him to learn) Get him to learn how to track stand first, it's the move that links all moves! It will be hard as it will seem boring to a youngster but it really is the most used and most useful move.

I would also say don't try running before he can walk, while he is learning maybe just get him to ride around very tight corners and rolling over a couple of pallets ect. Maybe riding along a planks of wood. Start small, then work up. Small logs would also be a good start.

If he has not rode a trials bike before it will feel very strange with the long stem so just riding and getting used to it is a start.

    Good luck.

  5. Just as a side note, and especially to both Ryan and Frank (in case you were lumping me in with them there) that I started off wanting to help you out, hence my first post in here. See what happens when you treat people like dicks?

You first post was spot on, ryan just needs to listen and take note, as said if he has sent it when he said he has nothing to worry about.

  6. Ryan, don't reply to these people, you are making your self look bad, they are all jumping on the bandwagon and this thread is going off topic.

You need to find that receipt, with out out you won't be able to claim your money back from royal mail if they have lost it. Once you find the receipt go to the post office and get a claim form from them.

If you have sent it when you said you did you have no reason to justify your self to the doubters, just go through the motions with the post office.

  7. Personally I think up should all stop jumping to conclusions until it's been proven that he didn't post on the said date. If Ryan has sent them then there is nothing he can do until after 15 working days anyway. If he has sent them when he said he has every right to come on here being pissed off!

There is a lot of if's I know but we will find out soon.

On another note the cheek of someone getting involved who is not exactly a great seller them self.

  8. Royal mail don't class mail as lost till after 15 working days, so he can't do anything about it till then. When you receive the parcel it will tell you the date it was posted. Every dealing I've had with Ryan has been good.

  10. Bloody good idea!

Just measured my trialtechs and I have 35mm rake

Received the forks back today, I measured the rake the same way I did my existing forks and they come out the same. I also triangulated my forks and the other ones and they come out the same within 5mm. The wheel base is also the same. From the pic I posted they do look strange but the measurements say there is nothing wrong with them and there is no stress marks.

    Any ideas.
