  1. its strange that everyone says that they wear quickly

ive had mine for over a year and they look like new

i ran through maxxis tires with 4-6 months for comparison

All depends on the terrain, and type of moves you do, also how often you get out. Mine have hardly worn and I'm gettingnoit 3times a week, I do mainly ride natural though.

Also I'm pretty sure they are the same compound as the original stickys so they shouldnt wear out any quicker.

  2. I've never liked the feel of the sports, always found them a lil weird feeling.

Dont think you'll got too far wrong with either bar you're choosing from :)

Agreed, and they are very similar so it wont make much odds which ones you have.

there is a member on here called irish who has a set of them rockmans for sale.

  3. i want advice on bars. Not f**king spacers!

Theyre both in silver, so both of them would look fine :P think im gonna go for the rockmans as they have a bit more rise and upsweep

its probably not the height that you dont like if you have played with spacer, its the bars it self. i found trialtechs to be too straight if you know what i mean. the more upsweep the better!

  4. Yo, been riding my pure and i love it but the front end feels a little too high. Current setup is a tryall 3d stem (older 127x27 model) TT High rise bars and a 20mm stacker. im gonna change the bars for some lower ones and have narrowed it down to two similar ones. the tryall elite 2011 and rockman 7075 2011. ive ridden a mates pure with the new tryall 3d stem and tryall elite bars with 40mm of stackers and hated it, felt really short. so im now swaying to the rockman bars as i had the old 7046's on quite a few of my many setups :P and loved them. anyone got any experience with these? any feedback appreciated :)

Both them bars have lots of upsweep which in my opinion makes them really comfy. On my pure I had the try-all carbons with try-all stem and it felt spot on

  5. ive started to notice the stock frames getting lighter and lighter ....that maybe ok for some but what about us heavier people who want something beefier?

frames seem to be around 1.6kg on average now, im worried if i purchase a new frame it wont last 2 months...

    wheres the 2kg frames gone:(

Lighter doesnt always mean weaker! And you could always buy a Marino if your that worried!

  6. Oooh your the one on the new echo?

    Love your bike dude! XD

Really fun trial, thanks to everyone that set out and observed today.

Sections were good fun, got a vit slippery on the cotton reels and logs at the end but thats all part of it :)

See you lot at the next one!

Cheers mate, I MIGHT actually stick with this one lol.

Was good fun, last section I did was on the tyres, was quite wet bye then.

  7. It depends what you practice. I ride their every weekend so when it comes to a comp there I would piss it! The log section looked hard but I did'nt get around to trying it. Shame I could'nt come as I would of liked to think I would of done quite well

Me and Charlie rolls finished on 6, he got the win due to most cleans.

Wasn't too wet, I do think the sections were a bit too easy!
