  1. I have decided not to go, this is due to the fact that there is only alloud 30 riders each day, and im sure there are riders who would much rather do it than me. :D
  2. Well one of the guys we were with said he knew one of the people in the BMX group, so maybe we could find out who the guy was (Y)
  3. That 180, with added bar spin, flying through the air at around 6.5ft, and landing fakey (obviously, as it was a 180) was absolutely emmence! :) Good ride though, even if we didnt see the other riders :P
  4. Thats because your a midgit, at just over 6ft :P I personally can't even begin to imagine a leeson over 1020, which is what mine is. Mine feels pretty long to me, although i can still bunny hop it, which is a bonus B) Hope this bike goes well for you, and you wont regret getting the leeson forks without a disk mount. Send me some pics over msn when you get it (Y) and maybe we can arrange a ride (Y) (Y)
  5. Sorry, this post just bugged me. The closest to "slagging off the video" that any of us have got is "repetitive" and "not inspiring". Also, if you actually read what i said, i think u'll find that i said the riding was good, and that i just didnt particularly enjoy the video. I thought the idea of this forum was to share your oppinions on things, just because you dont like mine, doesnt make me wrong (Y)
  6. I found that rather repetitive, and abit boring personally. I'm not doubting that the level of riding was emmense, but i didnt realy like the vid (Y)
  7. Yea, he's selling the disk because the forks he wants dont have a disk mount.... swapping would be an ingenious idea! (Y)"
  8. Wouldnt it eventually fook most stuff? (Y)" I dont see why it shouldnt be used for trials. although it would be mighty expensive
  9. Thats what i was thinking. Can anybody shed some light? :P
  10. Haha, im just trying to work it out aswell. I'm not very good at backwheeling, but i have tried a few techniques, and im trying to learn to tap, and bunnyhop up things. I dont have a clue what im doing with my feet at the moment... :">
  11. I started off by getting a Saracen Fastrax (XC bike...ish). I rode abit of XC with a couple of mates, Up-grading the parts on this bike untill it was worth around the £500 mark (with manitou forks (Y) ) Unfortunatly (or was it? (Y) ) this bike was stolen while i was on my paper round. Therefore i claimed on my insurance to replace it. In the mean time, i had become friends with a guy at school, who had just got himself a Specialised P3 (jump/ trial bike), and i borrowed his BMX untill i got a new bike, and did some dirt jumping with him. When i got the money for my new bike, i decided i would go for a dirt bike, so i got myself a Kona Scab. On this, me and my freind with the P3 became the local dirt jumpers, and had all the little kids on their full sus bikes looking on in awe :D Then this bike was stolen from me, also on my paper round, so i got the newer version of the same bike with the insurance money, and carried on riding dirt. The move to trials, im not exactly sure why it happened, but for some reason, my mate who got me into dirt got himself a Monty X-Alp... and started riding abit of trials... so i followed suit, and rode trials with him (still on the 18" Kona Scab) :D After a while, i managed to save up enough money, to get a frame, and build up a trials bike, most of which was spare parts. I now had a realy good trials bike, which was a Hardcore DSVD frame, with Kona P2 forks... etc... :P Now, after around 2.5 years of trials, im riding my Leeson clear 660, and im still pants :)" And if anybody actually reads that, then i feel sorry for you, you must be REALY bored :P Alex
  12. Haha, i would laugh sssooooo much if it was the axle. He has just replaced his standard king axle with the HD version, so that shouldnt be a problem.
  13. He can fit a disk mount, but when i asked about it for mine, he said he would rather not. This is because a disk puts alot of extra force onto the fork legs under braking. With mine, he told me that if i decide that i am going to run a disk, then he will weld a mount on for me at a later date.
  14. I have got them on my new Leeson. I like the 360 drop out, and so far they seem pretty good on the stiffness side of things. I have had just a week though, so i cant realy write a review as such. I think you will find they are heavier than alot of forks around at the moment, due to them being made of steel, although they are lighter than pashleys (or so i'm told). When i ordered mine, it seemed asthough clive didnt want to sell them to me (Y) He told me that they are exactly the same geometry as pashley forks, although because they are lighter, he says they are probably slightly weaker, Which is made up for in looks (Y)" :o So far, i would recomend them, but like i said, i have only had them a week, so i cant comment on strength atall :) Hope i have helped. Alex
  15. Yes, but Miles isnt clever enough to think of something like that. Just like he hasnt worked out that he can order the chain from the wiggle web site (Y) (Y)"
  16. No fair! if you come, i'll look properly poop! :"> (Y)"
  17. Yea, come on people! We need more riders! :(
  18. Could someone trials-shack it please? my daily limit is used up, because i havent used it for a week or so :ermm:
  19. How do you no your drving test will be early march? You can't book it untill you have passed your theory test :P"
  20. Haha, wicked. was it first time?? I passed on tuesday, but that was my fourth attempt :"> I have never had a driving lesson though, so it's all good :P
  21. The green ones would go perfectly with my leeson... but i think i'll look at price, and reviews before colour :)
  22. i'll offer 1 person a lift down there, and back (after the party :) ), 2 if i decide the bike rack is worthy... and 3 if we can get some1's bike in the boot, without putting the seats down (doubtful) :P THIS IS FOR LOCALS TO ME! (jus so i dont get you scottish folk asking me to come an pic you up :) )
  23. Hehe, sorry for taking it back out your garage rich :P Thanks for the bleed aswell :) with a nicer brake, i should be catching up with you in no-time :)" :P
  24. Yea, they'r pashleys with mounts that have been put on backwards and moved down slightly :ermm:
