Flat Spots

yeh their just something you gotta deal with unless yu feel like getting out a pair of mole grips and bending it back

have done it once worked alright

isnt that dents?

surely if you tighten th spokes where the red arrows are pointing to, it will bring out the flatspot somewhat?

i may be wrong but it kind of makes sense?

Cheers for the replys.

i'll have a play around this weekend, and i've learnt my lesson with going for the cheap options.

How much up and down movment is there? If it is 2mm or less you can change the spoke tension to pull it out, if not, its new rim time.

I'm guessing it is rear btw. On my old XC bike I was doing drop offs and flat spotted it, my dad just loosened all of the spokes off and bent it back. This was a mega weak rim though, it won't work on a trials bike rim.
