Need Advice Fast As Supposed To Be Riding Clacton Tomorrow

I want to no is it something to worry about as usually it is silent.

Also if it is somthing to worry about what is it that needs replacing?

If nothing needs replacing what stops the the noises coming from it?

I Bought this from Second hand and was fine this morning when it was first fitted but then towards the end of the day it start making the noises

My mates headset does this to and all he does is spray some gt85 in it every now and again and it seems to fix it.

NO!

Grease, unless you spray gt85/wd40 then turn it ALOT then put grease in, but dont just spray em in, its not good, it gets rid of grease and thins out to quickly, like by miday tmoz will have avapirated.

So Spray some GT85 in, turn it

Then just lighlty grease it.

Job done

It's probably just the bearings going, it's nothing to worry about, your stem isn't going to pull away from your bike or anything like that, but it'll get worse and worse as time goes on.

You can grease up the bearings, but it's only a temp solution to a perminant problem.

my mtb does this, just tighten it as much as u can
