Removing The Pedels

I dont think your trying to remove the PEDALS as you said in the topic title. It sounds like you are trying to remove the crank arms. Is that right? If so you would be best using a crank remover that screws into the thread in the crank arm and then tightens to push the crank arm off.

how do i do it i have taken the bolt out of the arm but i dnt seem to be able to get it off does it just slide off the spindle???

In simple terms, yeah. It slides but will be super stiff. Therefore like said a crank extractor will be needed. Alternately a mallet.
