Jason222 Posted September 11, 2008 Report Share Posted September 11, 2008 (edited) So, I've got a saracen Mad 2.0 and a new ACS freewheel for it, but the thread size is different on the hub, so the freewheel wont fit. Mark W Posted September 11, 2008 Report Share Posted September 11, 2008 Hmm...A few years ago and you'd have had loads of hubs to choose from, but virtually no-one makes flip-flop hubs any more. There's this (Ciari Flip-flop hubset, in case that link messes up), but obviously they only come as a pair of hubs so you'd have to sell on the front, or something. There's also this DK rear hub which would do the job. Lastly, there's this Gusset hub that's a bit bulkier, but it's also a fair bit cheaper.Make sure that you phone up if you're ordering from Winstanleys - their stock levels are often wrong, so make sure you call up to order, and get them to go check they're in stock when you're on the phone.
