You cant go wrong with a Hope pro 2 trials cassette on try all rims or if your a basher echo rims.

With Hope parts they are expensive but genitally bomb proof

I'm running echo cranks and bash, truvativ bb's, vp pedals all strong and relatively cheap.

Tartybikes are a great place to get a look at wheels. i run an Alex Supra E on the rear.

It's an ok wheel for me to begin with. I would buy the best that you can afford.

I think there is also something to be said for a bike that makes you go "hhhmmmm yeah" every time you get it out of the shed.

This guy knows . That's what I think when I look at mine, but the only problem is you might be worried about bashing up your baby and not ride it as hard as you should.
