peggysue
hello people.... my mate has purchased a rockman kortz frame and his current white 07 czar stock frame looks to be heading my way, however i have a 22 tooth chainring and bash setup on my current echo. was wondering if it would fit onto the czar frame . my mate runs a 18tooth chainring up front on it with a 128mm bb axle. i have a 118mm bb and the way the chainstays on the czar frame are very wide and close to the bottom bracket . not sure if my setup would rub on the chainstays when i tighten it up ...hope you know what i mean
Mikey-uk
I can't solve your problem but i reckon he means; Will his current chainring and bash fit the frame? Also will the crankarms rub the chainstays with the shorter bb
DannyBazz (:
this happened with me on my old frame...I did the thing you shouldn't a ground the stays down lmao, was a cheap frame anyway.Erm, you can get spacers that go between the bb and crank to space them out might help a bit.Longer bb is probs best option though. ogre
save your pocketmoney for a few weeks and go isis and get a longer bb?
mata22
i had czar frame but with 18 t ring in fron. i am almost 100% sure it wont fit with 22 t and 118 bb,i had on my zoo pitbull 22 truvativ hussefelt cranks but i had 128 mm bb axel and it was fine, so i think it could work fine if you put 128mm bb
super
i'm running a 20t on a 128mm isis bb on mine and it's fine, fairly sure you won't have any probs with a 22t.If your planning on running square taper you might find you get some clearance issues between crank arm and maggie slaves, this does of course assume your running a failry standered wide rear rim!
