I had watched lots of isntructional videos, trialszen, Art of trials etc but i just can start hopping on the rear wheel.

i can endo then pivot to get my front end up high but i always end up falling back down..

The best way to learn is to get out and have a play!! I watch trials vids to give me idea`s but the moves only come from trying time and time again, or better still try and ride with people that are better than you and watch them. There are always ledges around, a curb, pallet or something like that, if not you must live in a very flat world :P

Go ride!!

I can hop on the rear wheel but not for long as it consumes alot of energy...

When i started i did an endo then pulled it onto the back wheel, but I now do it by puttin my good foot at the 11oclock position on the cranks. Then I lean forward slightly then when i kick i lean backwards and before the bike goes under me I slam the rear brake on, after that i start hopping until i feel right to do a pedal kick.

Hope that helped :)

thanks guys i have been asking around but no one rides in my area. the enarest is like 20km away which is impossible for me to get there without driving, and i cant drive.

i tried leech's tutorial method of hopping on a 2 feet curb, and gradually lean back, but when i elan abck to a certain degree i kinda find my self stuck without able to continue to hop and i jsut end up falling forward..

tried the pedal kick method too, but everytime i slam my rear brake on the the front drops forward fast again..

It`s like Findus said, try try try. It`s the only way. At some point you will see that

it is getting better. just don`t expect it within a week.

Al the videos are helpfull to get a impression of how it should go.

But just get on your bike and ride.

The way I learnt was by doing a small endo and leaning far back, once on the back wheel I didn't know what the h*ll I was supposed to do so I just dropped back on 2 wheels. But eventually you will get the idea, so just keep practising and try hopping backwards once you're on the back wheel. It's easier that way because when you lean too far back, just hop and you will regain balance (with practice of course). Good luck!
