omgnoseat Posted April 9, 2010 Report Share Posted April 9, 2010 Hello, I'm looking to get started into robotica for a bit. Last semester in school I had the opertunity to use phidgets driven by actionscript 3. I enjoyed it alot and want to advance a step into more robotish stuff where I can program simple movements and such. The problem is that I have no idea where to get started. I heard that the lego mindstorms set is a good introduction, but it is way too expensive! I'm also not to sure how the whole robot idea actually works, ecspecialy the microprocessor. I was hoping someone has some experience with this, seeing as alot people here seem to do some sort of engineering. Thanks in advance.
