Dušan
So is there any good about riding with slick tyres? Ive seen some people (mainly mod riders) having slick tyres... is it just beacuse they dont want to buy new tyres or does it have any speacial function? Jamie_Trials
Get more grip in the dry, don't bother making it fully bald unless the main middle part is gone. Int the wet, you're looking for a hostital.
ginger allen echo
Slicks are ace! I've used one for ages. only slicked creepy crawler tyres though so I'm not sure about toner tyres.

Jamie_Trials
Yeh, cut the side part off, creepy crawlers can grip onto anything. Saves weight too
CalopS
What country do you live in? The weather in the uk is pretty much always wet at the moment. I dont know why you would ever think of running a slick in these conditions, especially if your riding natural too. Slicks are for summer/street/dry only I reckon and even then I would much prefer to run something with tread on it.
Dušan
Unfortunately Slovakia Well i think it doest matter anyways as my tyres will be slick soon and i usualy ride in dry conditions (even in winter )
eskimo
Lighter, less rolling resistance. I bought slick tyres rather than used tryall/ Monty tyres bold.
