Bike Bag Help

I am going to buy a bike bag for taking my bike on planes.

I have a 20" trials bike can anyone recommend a good bag?

If I were you I'd get down to a local bike shop and get a decent bike box off them and some extra cardboard to pack it out with. A bike bag is going to be pretty expensive and I think a well taped up bike box with plenty of cardboard inside for packing would do a better job.

I used a large hiking bag packed out with polystyrene, the bag had straps and ties all around it for adjusting anyway and when these where tightened it was no bigger than the bike would be if in a thin box.

Used to do this so i could take my bike on the bus as well as abroad.

Use a bike box. More protection in a box rather than a bag, so should prevent any bending too.

I've got a bike bag, never had a problem with it but it's not uncommon for people to find their bikes bent after being in a plane. Make sure you use some frame/fork dropout packing to prevent it bending.
