konstant
Given that it's used often to clean paint brushes, I'd probably steer clear of it for painted stuff. I use a cloth and GT85 for cleaning frames.
davey1991
Its fine, its used to thin wet paint. It wont cause harm. Its very similar to GT85 and WD40 minus the oil part.
D Rock 45
worked a treat, nice white frame again but half an hour later out in the sticks it was dirty again, it did help it just wipe of with a dry cloth
weirdoku
I find lighter fluid to be better, and doesn't smell as bad as white spirit. Lighter fluid works great on the crap left behind from stickers too.
trialsbeginner
is there anything you could use for stripping paint off your frame though because i am thinking about it for future just to save those extra grams
konstant
Its fine, its used to thin wet paint. It wont cause harm. Its very similar to GT85 and WD40 minus the oil part. My bad. It shouldn't affect hardened paint at all.

trev
spray on silicone will clean and make the frame shiny, it will help keep off the mud for a couple of rides, just make sure you keep it away from bearing and braking surfaces. Pro downhillers use this on wet courses. have tried car pollish on the mountain bike. it does similar to silicone but more hassle to put on
