Bike insurance

Recommended Posts

Had a quick search, but couldn't find anything on here.

Does anyone have or can recommend a good insurance provider? E.g...one who will not try wriggle out of everything etc, which does good cover.

As not really looking forward to the day when I come out of work and my bike is not there...

Cheers

Bit of an oxymoron there :wink2:

I've not got any tips other than tagging it onto home insurance, or through BCF: http://www.britishcycling.org.uk/membership/article/bike-insurance

Haha I knew immediately after I pressed post that someone would point that out.

Home insurance pay out for things stolen away from the home like that?

Mine are insured on my house insurance, adds about 60 quid a year to the premium I think which isn't too bad. They're insured to a value and covered even if they're stolen away from the home, they need to be locked up securely or forcibly taken off me though.
