AndrewEH1
So, about to re-build my wheels after snapping a spoke and a bit of total rebuild on the Skye. Just noticed when disassembling the rim that they have standard nipples rather than the torque type used on other Atomlab Pimplite rims. I have some torque nipples and they don't even seem to fit in the nipple hole. Anyone know what the deal is?
Ali C
just use standard nipples, I swear by alloy ones for a better build.

I guess these wheels were originally built by you anyway! Just find it a little odd the torque ones don't fit, worked nicely on my 26" hardtail. dezmtber
The guys at inspired told me today the pimplite rims on the skye were special one offs just for that bike with regular nipple holes not the normal atomlab nipples.
