Whoops, ah well.

For future reference dude, the easiest way to tell if something is steel from alu is by checking the construction. The welds on steel stuff are usually quite small and neat (about 1mm across the rippling), where as the welds on alu are generally really beefy and much fatter (about 3-4mm). You can also tell usually by checking out any machining etc. You can't really machine pretty patterns etc with steel so the dropouts are likely to be very basic and just like a cut plate of steel, whereas on alloy stuff the dropouts can be machined to look all pretty and loose weight.

Have a look at viz forks, then have a look at some pashley 26mhz forks. You'll see what I mean straight away.
