Whiteboy Posted March 4, 2005 Report Share Posted March 4, 2005 ok well im looking for some new bolts and spacers for my 4 mount. just wondering if someone could tell me what length bolts and spacers i should be using? my booster is 6 mm thick. also is there any particular type/material i should be looking for them as the ones i have at the moment the heads round really easy ( all i know is that they are silver :blink: ). thanks tom Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bluecatracingcat Posted March 5, 2005 Report Share Posted March 5, 2005 Look at the lenght of your old bolts, add booster width. Eye-ball booster against mount, wanting it to clear by 1mm or so, just add 3mm for the recese on mount and thats your spacer length. So spacer plus booster plus old bolt = new bolt. Umm does that help? P.s most boosters come with 16mm spacers and 45-46mm bolts, but I use just 12mm to keep it all compact. :blink: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
