JTM Posted April 24, 2005 Report Share Posted April 24, 2005 Ive just bought a £500 medion laptop from kwik save as you cant get a better spec for under nearly £700. Everythings fine, but every 5 mins it makes quite a loud noise. Its like the fan kicks into play and its a loud wirring noise. Just wanted to know if its normal and do all laptops do it?? I usually put it on my bed whee the fan can't really work so i have to lift it up a bit so it doesn't overheat. My fan comes off and on, but sometimes it makes a screechy noise, so i just lift my laptop an inch off my desk and let gravity do its thing. Stops it from making the noise though.
