Hi, Im new here, i currently have a EchoEM2R but ive stripped the threads out of the rear brake mount, done everything i can to fix it including helicoiling but nothing worked.

So im loking for a new frame and fast. i havent been riding for long like about 2 weeks and i can get up stuff about 3 to 4 foot high with a bit of ease, would i nothince the difference in the two echo team frames.

My EM2R feels quite short, but not having any experience i dont really have a clue :$ .

Im looking at the Echo Team Frames but which one to get, the long or short, im in engineering but i still dont know how much difference 30mm would make to the feel of the frame.

How do you think i would get on with a long Echo, im 5foot 8 and quite stocky, any help much appreciated. ;)

Cheers

Tom

Hay mate you should go for the short ;) my mate has one and it rides well nice you will find it harder to get up stuff but in the long run you will feel a lot better with the short frame. And when you learn to side hop you will be able to get a lot more hight on your attempt B)

Good luck mate, rickyb

Have a look and see if you can ride someone elses, doesn't necesarily have to be an Echo, but just see how the length feels. Remember you can change it a bit with bar/stem combo's.

Have as long a ride as possible, just hopping on the backwheel will do nothing. Try gaps, ups, sidehops, wheelswaps, hoo-ha's, whatever else.
