Dougster
I was wondering can you get the paint of the echo and koxx 06 front rims off. Im wanting a new front wheel and quite like the look of the 06 echo but the whole rim has been painted. Do you think tarty would grind it off? PaRtZ
File it off. Im sure that the rear rims come pre-brushed anyway
Jsy Ben
no facts, but if its "painted" the same way, or even better is the same "paint" thats on a middleburn bash you can defo file it off as thats what i did with mine same with the front also, or alternatively you could have tarty grind it off like you suggested you would also have a better braking surface...my mate has the 06echo rim on the rear and his braking isnt good to put it shortly, he has had to use a lil bit of tar...hopes thats helped you to come to some sort of conclusion
trials rules
what i did when i got my try-all for the front was just rode it as it was and after a while all the paint came off on its own. And the braking wasn't that bad either!
tipsy Jock
They're anodised, if you want rid of it i'm pretty sure caustic soda will do the job, b&q it
Swize
They come in silver anyway and that the colour you are going to get it you remove/grind it away.So my advice would be NO! just buy a silver one.Unless you are talking about the breaking surface if so then yes he can grind it for you.Sam
