hello

My back brake is not working as well as it should it slips a bit when you tooth pick and when slightly land on the edge or when you land really vertical but when you start going it gets better. i am running plazmatic crm's and a medium grind. i have cleaned the pads and rim, only had the pads about a week.

any advice or help is much needed. (Y)

Many thanks (Y)

you need a harsh grind if your running plaz pads (Y) they should work well then.

or maybe you just haven't set them up well enough? my brake was doing the exact same i set the brake up better applyed a dab of tar and its working fine.

Ahh right.

I was hoping you were going to say something like that.

If you use anything like WD40 etc, that's why you're brake'll be shit :P

Errrmm...Try riding/pushing the bike along with the brake on, to dry up the rim, and spread all the fairy liquid round abit.

One thing I found works aswell, is deodrant. Srap a bit over the rim, and any crap will literally rince (sp?) off the rim.

Then just dry it, and ride (Y)

Could also try a fresh grind?
