So... Recently I snapped my Planet-X Zebdi, then I got it welded (which is fine for now). But I think it is time I bought a new frame.I don't really have much money at the moment, but I am just seeking some advise.What do you think would be a good jump bike frame? CurtisRider Posted January 9, 2006 Report Share Posted January 9, 2006 whats your budget? what wheel size do you run? whats you style?dmrs seem to have a tendancy to snap rather easily compared to the competition-but they are good frames in general, but for jumping/street, steel is where to gothe 24/7 slacker is great value for money, and they ride like a dream 24 specific thoughthe new charge frames are supposed to be bloody good too, i really like the looks of them, same with static frames if alloy is your boat, then i would always recomend a specialised p2/p3, i loved mine to bits, it handled sweet as a nut, even if the bb is a bit low for streety stuff(i coped)250quid will get you a very good frame that will last, its worth saving the extra i ride a comencal vip 24 frame now(sposed to be pretty rare, bloody expensive too!), and its amazingly nice, the geometry is spot on, trouble is the likelyhood of finding another is pretty low Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
