Mr Motivator Posted January 10, 2006 Report Share Posted January 10, 2006 I fitted a brake to my bmx yesterday, its a teckro U, with an XTR cable, and a teckro lever (soon dirty harry when i get it off my mate).Well, I have no hole in my seat tube, so couldnt run it through there and hook it on a cable, so had to run it all the way round the back and link the brake with one cable.Trouble is, its so damn bloody hard to pull it, and it doesnt lock.Any ways of making it better. Street Lee Posted January 10, 2006 Report Share Posted January 10, 2006 Straddle cable from one arm, ROUND the seat tube top the other arm and connect brake cable in front of the seat tube.
