I may be willing to grind my bmx rim as its old and shitty and not chrome  !

also can anyone recomend me a good chrome rim?

another thing, feel free to give me other sugestions on good vee pads for bmx, also i know my coust on my trials bike honk like a biach, just wondering if they do on a smooth rim and the same with the heatsink reds?

thanks in advance.

But they certainly are damn useful ;)

Araya RBJ1 rims (aka the Himiko) are f**king aaaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmmmaaaaaaaazzzzzzzziiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg. www.alansbmx.com and www.pijin.co.uk (<- Mark's choice ;)) are two places I can think of who stock them, and they're pretty fan-f**king-tastic.

Getting a decent brake with a black rim is super hard unless you're one of the lucky people who seem to be able to buy cheap completes and have some sort of miraculously powerful back brake.

From my experience, Plaz CRM pads work super well for BMX's. Good modulation and good overall power. Good. Anyhoo, Ben's Koolstop salmon pads (you can get BMX-specific ones which I believe come as standard on the mad expensive Fly brakes, which should give you an idea of their rad-ness) appear to work really well for him, so I guess you could try those too.
